In assessing where I stand with snus without hitting my freezer, I found that somewhere along the way I bought a can of Zyn 6mg Spearment. They're just a little bigger than the General Mint Minis if I'm remembering what they were like. Zyn won't work for me at all.

My boss and our operations manager use Zyn. I don’t think the boss ever smoked but know the manager did. I used to give the OM the disposable ecigs I got for reviews but he quit vaping. He chain uses 6mg Zyn at work and I believe he’s back to smoking some on his off time. The Zyn they showed me was tiny. Smaller than any of the nic pouches I’ve used.

I decided to give Nicobolt a shot with nic pouches. Ordered three each of 3 different flavors of ARP- Mint and Wintergreen in 6 & 9 mg, and one of Tropical Fruit in 9. Then
i included one can of White Fox Double Mint 12mg since that was the only strength offered.

I can't say the shipping was ungodly, $9.05 ground. We'll see if 77 has a substitute.

Where did you order from. I’m still liking the different flavors of 77 pouches but don’t use them near as much as snus.

I have tried a lot of different nicotine pouches, they don't do the same thing for me as real Snus. I can do them in between Snus, but not as an all day thing (I did try it). I will use some as fill in just to make my Snus last longer. I have stocked up a Lot on Snus and have another order coming from Snusport for some more Americana (only thing they have I like). But this will be my last order for a while, I have over a 2 year supply in the freezer, which will be longer mixing in some NP's along the way. I just hope at some point they back off and let us get Snus again freely from overseas, but I'm not going to hold my breath...

So the ALP arrived in three days via UPS. It's obvious that Tucker designed them along the lines of PMI's Zyn. I just happened to have one portion left from the old can I had here. They are exactly the same length but narrower and more like the longs of yesteryear. Net weight is 10g as opposed to only 6g of Zyn. Also Zyn Spearmint has only 15 pouches compared to 20 ALPs. Based on net weight and calculating to 20 portions of Zyn, there would only be 8g in 20 portions. That explains why they felt better under my lip. I opened the 9mg can of ALP Chilled Mint. The Zyn was only 6.

Zyn's can says enjoy up to an hour. I didn't find I enjoyed them anywhere near that. On the otherhand, I've had this portion in for over 3 hrs and there still is flavor left in the portion. Considering Nicobolt charges an extra buck for Zyn, for less portions, these work for me.

As far as taste, they sure aren't General Mints or 77, but I kind of liked the flavor. I'm not much for explaining flavor, but this works for me. I only ordered one can of their Tropicl Fruit to keep my shipping below $10 (oh, no signature required and no tax applied) and a can of White Fox's Double Mint that is 12mg, 20 portions with a weight of 15g. I'll probably open one of those next. I'm thinking the White Fox since it's from Sweden and has a disposal area. The ALP comes from India which explains the art work on the cans.

Quick update. That White Fox Double Mint was a total loser, glad I only ordered one can. No mint taste at all.

On the other hand, the Tropical Fruit ALP I liked. It first reminded me of bubble gum although I don't know why as I don't think I've had any since elementary school. I wish I had ordered more of it. I'm kind of amazed at how long the flavor hangs around in their products.

Went to my regular SpeedWay gas station for a can of General Snus Mint this afternoon.

They were sold-out. Manager said they have been on backorder for several weeks now.

Figured I would try a SpeedWay that's just outside the city. Nice day for a wee bit of a ride.

They had a roll of 5 in the little G.S. fridge. Thought I better get 2. The gal rang them up at 11.67 for both. Imagine my surprise! Trying not to act strange I said "ya know, might as well gimme the other 3 too".

So, $27.68 for 5 - $5.53 each with tax. At the other SpeedWay they're $11 plus tax each!!!

Got out to my car and did the Happy Dance all the way home.

I still have 11 Jakobsson's Mint in my freezer. I don't use snus all that much, maybe 1 or 2 a day at most. So, my stash is quite good for a while.

There are only a handful of SpeedWay's around here that still carry G.S. The ones that still carry it charge $11 a can.

I'm not sure why they were lower priced at the one SpeedWay. If I had to guess, someone probably entered the wrong price into their system.

For certain, I will be checking in with them in the future!

Around here it’s Quiktrip that carries it and there’s tons of them all over the city. I’m not sure how much each of them stocks. I got a gift card from there for work and am going to use it to buy a five pack.
