Are you going anywhere Hitt??

I had to take Hj back to the vet this morning. His fever was and body pains came back. I told the vet to do what he needs to do and I don't want him back until he is better. I was driving myself crazy taking his temperature all the time. (probably driving him crazy too). Titus is very obviously happy that Hj is gone and he has me to himself again.

Gonna be another 'fun' week at work. Being understaffed is wearing me out!!

I'm not going anywhere. Axl I hope HJ will be ok. Maybe he just caught a virus or something.

I am having a rough time at work too. I'm burnt out and am sick of some of the lazy SoB's that I work with. I started the day with a pretty good attitude but it deteriorated pretty quick. I am buried with work again and others there are afraid to get their hands dirty. I had a few days where I was getting caught up but then all hell broke loose again. Of course when I get busy in the shop again then everyone wants a service call too. I just feel like I'm being pulled in a hundred directions at once.

Axl, did they check for Lyme. That sounds pretty classic from my experience. I thought I was going to lose him back when he was little more that a pup. He scared me so bad I emptied a tray of ice cubes, because he wouldn't even drink, and started rubbing one on his gums. After a bit he started licking the ice, followed by chewing it, then he became insatiable. He ate so many I got nervous and called the vet to make sure I wasn't overdoing it. They told me it was quick thinking and told me to let him eat as many as he wanted. The fever broke and the limping disappeared the next morning. I suppose the anti-biotics finally kicked in.

Man Hitt, your situation changes quick. I recall you were pretty slow just a bit ago. I'm so slow, I'm doing nothing. They got another volunteer and with the FTE I haven't been needed at the Thrift store. I'm not complaining though, but I have to get off my .... and get some stuff done around here.

Good morning. Roth you are right. My situation at work can change in as little as a day. I was just starting to get comfortable with my work load and in a very short time all hell broke loose again. I better go get after it.

Morning All. This sitting around on a rainy day gets the mind a wondering. I bought the MyBookLive WD product to give me a personal cloud so the PCs would be backed up. I saw it could be used to feed videos and pictures to the TV, but I looked at that as a "that's nice". However I didn't notice the WD2GO feature.

Anything I put on the drive will hook up with an app on my Droid and be accessible wherever I am, as long as I have WIFI or the patience to wait for a 3G load (4G should speed that up considerably). I'm loading up all my music so if I forget my MP3 player, I still have my music. Next will be moving pictures in. Now all I need is redundancy so if 3tbs of data crashes, I can restore it in my lifetime. Not that I think I'll ever fill 3 tb.

    Hey all.

My vet did the snap test for lymes and it was negative. He sure acts like he has that though. Maybe it is one of the other tick born diseases? Shouldn't really be though because he's been on frontline. Vet said he was feeling good this morning and moving better but his temp was 104.5. I'm starting to think I may never know what it is, and that he'll either get over it on his own or he won't. I'm open to input! I have great faith in my vet, but he's just one man.

I sincerely wish that my boss would at least let me finish a project before he starts me on another one. I don't really mind any of the boy work I'm doing, I would just like to actually FINISH something!

My daughter's goal is to be the first female ninja warrier. I let them watch it on tv last night. Actually a pretty cool show. Anyone else see it?

Good morning. Welcome nikk. How are you liking the 06 so far? I liked the 05 better but everyone's tastes are different.

We went over to my mother in law's house last night for her bday. She turned 70 yesterday. To me she doesn't seem like a 70 year old.

So far I've tried Thunder coffee and 06. The coffee was kinda horrible, lotta drip. The 06 so far has been a not unpleasant experience after the initial sting. Still have General Long xtra s and Thunder Frosted to try. I'll throw a couple cans of 05 in the next order. There are so many different ones to try, just tried to get what seemed like the basics for my first one.

It sounds like you started out with all extra strong snus. Does the strength seem right for you? I use a mixture of regular, strong and extra strong depending on what I feel like I need at the time. You are right about there being so many different ones to try. I've been using it for about 2.5 years and there are still a lot I haven't tried. I keep buying the ones I know I like and then add a can or two of new ones with each order to try. Some of the thunder do have a heavy drip. I liked the flavor of the coffee ok but it didn't end up in my regular rotation. The thunder berry is a regular for me. It seems like the thunder frosted is either a love or hate. I never liked it much.

Hi Nikk, welcome the the other side of the tracks.

Gutter, I'm glad you didn't have to drive the lawn mower the 60 miles. That would have sucked....

Axl, I hope KJ gets better quickly. Have they figured anything out yet?

Roth, I thought I was set with 1 TB of storage between the computer and the back up. 3 TB could take a while to fill up. If we had a house I might put in a home server, but in an apartment the wires are too much.

Hitt, just think job security. As long as you are the one doing the work, and the boss knows it, you have job security.

It's been busy here. I need a weekend of nothing going on. I hope that happens this weekend.

Hittman, I did start off with all xs longs. Seems a good nic level for me right now. Hopefully, I can work my way down to regular strength eventually. Not much urge to smoke, so I guess I'm doing it right. The frosted was mostly insurance against strong tobacco taste. The 06 is growing on me though. Each portion seems to last 2,5 to 3 hrs. :)

Hi Gimpy welcome to the dark side. Nikk, you took the opposite approach fom me. I went light to strong. I'm a bit like Hitt, I mix and match based on mood, but almost always have a Gen Mint somewhere during the day. I probably go a bit longer per portion. I'll lip them until I get nothing out, probably why the mint.

Looking for an update from Axl. I sure hope her pup is okay.

Hitt, I hope to have off Friday. A four day weekend would be nice. The way it looks now though, I'll be working.

Nikk, don't dispose of any snus that doesn't work for you early on. As you get used to snus, sometimes you're taste's change. So something you don't like now you might like in a few weeks. As far as the drip goes, try putting the portion more forward in you're mouth. The further back they are the more saliva is generated.

    Justy relaxing after work with:
