Wow, that sucks. One of our cats got sick last year, scared the crap outta me. Woke up and she was lying in a pool of drool. Took her to e.r. vet (weekend). They gave her a rehydrating iv for a couple hours and wanted to keep her all weekend which would have cost $1000. They never had a clue what was wrong. My guess is she ate a bad spider. Next day, no drool, within a week she was playing again. Worst part was discussing whether it was worth it to spend the money with my wife who drove 5 hrs to Dallas to pick it up as a kitten when she's scared to death of driving. Long story short, I hope he gets better.

Last night for this can of 06. Grabbed the Thunder coffee for backup. Not going to work so hard to stretch these for 3 hrs because I was getting strong cravings for a cig in the third hour. Swap at two and be happy.

i've been getting that smoking itch here lately ( it's been almost 2 years? doesn't it ever go away??!!!) and think i probably ought to put a pv together.
i went through my stuff and all the liquid is pretty old at this point but i think my ego batteries are still in good shape.
do any of you guys know if the new clearomizers will fit on the old ego batts? anything else i need to get besides some new juice?

yesterday and today sucked pretty bad. it's 100 degrees out and the humidity has been insane.
i did get the mower back and it was fixed under warranty so it didn't coast anything.

Axl, I'm really sorry about HJ. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Gutter, I don't think it does ever go away but the cravings seem to be fewer and further apart. I like the boge lr 2.0 cartos on an ego/riva battery. What kind of liquids do you like? Tobacco, fruit, sweet, menthol?

All I can say is wow! I ordered the vaporizer, at the earliest Thursday. I just looked it up, Thursday morning on Ebay to a company in CA with an estimated delivery date of the 29th or 30th. I came home at 7PM (in the rain without rain gear on so I was soaked for the second time in 3 days) and found the wet box on my front porch. If that came from CA, that has to be a record.

I ground up some LOS, added a couple drops of VG since I had the can sitting out for weeks and it dried out, and put it in the hopper. Meanwhile, I heated it up to full power for 10 minutes to burn off the packing minerals, then let it cool for 10 minutes, per the instructions.

So so results after my first attempt. At 340F I had to draw slowly or it caused me to cough. Really couldn't taste the snus other than a faint flavor, but I could only to maybe 5 puffs on it and the only way I can describe it is how I remember my first cigarette without the lousy taste that I grew to love. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. I'm planning on using it after I get up and before I use anything else. I'll wait till I feel I really want something to see how it affects me.

What I found interesting they have instructions on vaping eucalyptus, hops, chamomile, lavender, sage and thyme. The part of the plant and suggested temps are listed. I'll have to get on the net to check that out. Sounds like the flower children are alive and well in CA. :)

Axl, I keep hoping something will change.

Gutter, you should be okay with the batts as long as they still function, I'd say the juice will probably be okay if you kept it cool. I have old liquid that I used this week and it was fine. It might be getting close to that two year mark, but it still looked like it did when I got it so I wasn't concerned.

not even sure what's under my lip, time to change

Wow Axl, that sucks. I hope HJ pulls through.

Gutter, we're supposed to get some heat here tomorrow. In the 90's at least, not 100's though. It might be a good time to put on the AC.

My pipe experiment is working a little better. My only problem is getting it to stay lit. But I'm getting there. It's nice and relaxing after work. I wonder how much a better pipe will make a difference. I'm not sure I want to spend the money on one yet.

Two down, two to go with:

    Corncob with Blue note tobacco
    cream soda

Good morning. Roth that's great you got the vaporizer already. I remember TB saying how harsh the hit on his was.

I ended up going to see the Avengers movie finally yesterday. I really liked it. The kids enjoyed it too. I have to go to the neighbours(one I don't like) for their daughters eighth grade graduation party. For some reason they are making a big deal of it. The kids are friends so I'll tough it out for a while.

Thanks for the links roth! Ya, he has been tested for pretty much everything. So far available results are negative, and we are still waiting for the mailed out blood results to come back. I haven't heard from my vet since friday now. I am honestly afraid to call. Right now, I can still tell myself, maybe he's better, maybe he'll live.

    Axl, panosteitis ?

    Panosteitis in Young Dogs

You didn't really explain all the symptoms, but the age and breed seem right and it reads like it's difficult to diagnose.

Just trying to find possibilities. Have been avoiding potential for Lupus (SLE OR discoid).

axl - i'm sending good mojo for the doggie.hopefully you'll hear something tomorrow.

thanks for all the suggestions on the e-cig.i guess two years is almost a lifetime in the e-cig development cycle.looks like they've made alot of improvements in the dealing with the liquid department.

    Hitt,
i tended to like the tobacco and menthol juices but had a real problem with pg and all vg juices didn't do well with tobaccos ( they were always sweet).
when i stopped using the pv i was using vaperite organic juices and some of the ecopure stuff as it tended to not taste so chemically :)
vaperite has started carrying alot more hardware stuff so i think i'm gonna put in an order for a menthol and a couple of clearomizers tomorrow and see if that will calm the urge.

i spent all day in the insane heat getting things ready for the electrician tomorrow.he said the shop and the pond should all be done by the time they leave tomorrow afternoon.i think i'm just gonna try to stay out of their way (and out of the heat) and try to get some work done.

Good morning. Gutter good luck with them getting finished. I hope it goes smooth. The sweet Caroline from vaperite is good. I haven't tried their menthol. Puresmoker's silverleaf menthol is an everyday regular for me. I wasn't a fan of halo liquids I tried in the past but their tribeca is a more realistic tobacco I tried recently. It's more like a pipe or cigar tobacco. You are right about things changing a lot in the past couple years. If the regular liquids don't do it for you then you might consider some wta from Aromaejuice.

    HE'S BACK !!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

My, and his breeder's first thought was pano too, Roth. I'm still not sure. Not sure why that would make his platelets drop, but if it's viral, maybe. Thank you for the link. I had never heard before that there may be a viral component to it. Weird.

My vet called me this morning and said Hj is MUCH better. Jumping around like a spaz again and eating like there is no tomorrow. I am so happy. I have only had this dog for 5 months, but I think I am very very attached!!

I don't know much about lupus, but I do know it can be manageable. I'm afraid to read up on it at the moment!! When I get the rest of the blood test results back, hopefully I will know more. For now, I am just thrilled to have him back.

    phew!!

Five months with any dog, even my monster is guaranteed love. I am so overjoyed with the news. Hopefully that is the end of it. We all have our fingers crossed on that one. Incidentally, as I'm typing, Jack stuck his face in mine looking for attention. The reason he really isn't the monster that I started out with is I can now calmly tell him "no, go lie down" and after a few seconds of thought, he'll do it 80% of the time. We're working on the 100% solution.

So far my herbal vaporizer experiment has not gone as I envisioned it, but I'm still experimenting. Thus far the taste hasn't been great and it causes me to cough if I hit it too hard. I'm thinking a wet pipe tobacco perhaps.

    Contemplating my next move with

Illegal Onyx (I really like that stuff)
