I caught the ups man today and got our snus. I gotta quit waiting so long to order - things got kind of hairy there for a day or two :)

Firechick,
Ups has a service now that you can sign up for online that lets you reschedule or preapprove deliveries but it doesn't work with tobacco shipments and the nearest depot is 40 miles away. Living in the sticks has its' downsides, I guess.

Hitt,
I got out the old ego batteries and they seem to be working fine. I got two of the ego/stardust clearos and they are working great with the old batteries.I ordered them and some just menthol ( great, great juice, btw) from Todd over at Vaperite and am really impressed with how far they've come from the days of 2 part atomizers. No filler,no fiddling with atomizers and no funky carto taste.
The storms moved through and the weather behind them has been beautiful - hopefully you get the same thing.it was 70 and partly sunny with low humidity today and has gotten down into the high 50's tonight.

The mrs started vacation tonight and it looks as if we're gonna try to wrap up some projects around the house - putting new tile down in the bathroom seems to be at the top of the list..

Good morning. Gutter it sounds like you are doing better. One of my favorite set ups has been a riva with a lr 2 ohm carto. The riva is basically the same as an ego. I have a vv pv and a 6v pv too.

Nikk I never really thought of the frosted as sweet. That's an interesting observation.

Morning, almost 5AM here, just returned from a 3 hour odyssey started by mom pushing the med alert button. I rushed over and found her in bed, her face white as a sheet with a few red blotches. She didn't move when I turned the light on and to be honest, at first I didn't think she was with us anymore.

I was wrong, but she didn't look or sound good. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good description of what was ailing her other than she couldn't get up. I asked how her chest felt. She said alright but she also said she felt dizzy and her stomach hurt AND she had to P. I asked if she felt she could go to the bathroom with my help, no. I asked if she felt she needed to go top the hospital, maybe.

911 time, ambulance, dog relief, lockup and off to the hospital. Maybe half an hour later I walk into the emergency room, she's sitting up in her bed telling me she can't be spending days in that room. She looked totally healthy, well totally 93 year old healthy. The nurse finally came around and my sister had arrived and we all agreed she didn't need to be there. Whatever was ailing her passed as soon as she hit the hospital bed so home we went. Sis is with her now, me tonight and we'll see how things go,

Better see if I cam get a couple hours of sleep.

No Hitt, no allergies and she never saw the doc. Just a quick trip to the ER and she was good as old. My guess it was her heart but I'm no doc. After the last trip when they told us she had the heart attack, it just seemed too familiar. However, since there is really nothing they can do to improve that situation and she wanted out, the nurse, my sister and I were more than willing to let it be her decision.

Between dementia and sun-downing it's difficult to get her to describe symptoms. I repeated what she said to my questioning to her and that I asked if she felt she needed to go to the hospital and she looked at me as if I was either lying or crazy. Hey, it was just good to catch a couple hours sleep before today's events.

Wow, Roth. I'm also surprised that a Doctor didn't at least talk to her. I'll be praying for you.

I finally got a rolling tool chest. I've wanted one for years. All my tools are in tool boxes, about 5 or 6 of them. I picked one at Menards. Not too big for the laundry room, but big enough and sturdy enough for all my tools. I can't wait to get it filled now. That could take a while.... It was fun loading the three big boxes into my car. My next vehicle will probably be a truck.

Hi skrymr. I hope your work goes better than mine has so far. I'm pooped and still have over two hours to go. I can't believe the constant flow of equipment coming in for repair. I had several more come in today. I told the guys out front that are receiving them that I'm probably at the point of it being a week before I even look at anything new that comes in. I finally had to sit down for a couple minutes and thought I'd check in.

Roth, that is weird about your mom. I'm glad she came through it ok though.
Hj's symptoms came back sunday for about an hour, then after his prednizone pill, he was fine again. I guess it was too soon to start cutting him back. I talked to a lady in canada with his littermate sister and she went through the EXACT same thing after vaccinating her dog for lepto. Her dog had tons of tests which showed nothing and ended up being on prednizone for 6 weeks and has been fine ever since. Apparently there are some autoimmune issues with that breeding!! I hope hj is able to come through it as well, and I plan to put him on the same prednizone plan his sister was on. So I guess I'll be cleaning up alot of pee pee accidents for the next month or two. Oh well.

Used our camper for the first time this weekend!!

    Hey Hitt,
It's a little pull behind. REally little. I think it is 16ft. My dad bought it new to take to alaska but then he died in 08 so it sat until last fall when my mother decided to give it to us. It has only been used a handful of times. We had a good time though. It's nice to be able to use that instead of a hotel for dog events. Much more peaceful and less stinky!!

It didn't.... One machine ran fine, the other was a pain all night. It still wasn't where I wanted it when I left, but it was in tolerance. We got a new tool for it that was supposed to be easier to adjust, but it won't stay set properly. The guy they have running it on first shift is new, and has very little idea what he is doing and the person helping him has ideas on how it should be set that are wrong.... Makes for a challenging night. I'll have to have a chat with both of them when I get there today.

I finally got some of my tools transferred. I have to figure out how to organize my socket's. I probably have a hundred or more. I have them piled shoe box top for now, but I would like to make it a little easier to find the one I need. So far I have three boxes empty, two more to go. I think. Every time I move something I find more tools...

skrymr, they sell these cool plastic inserts that you sit in your tool box and are stamped with the size. They have separate ones for each drive size. I got mine at sears. I don't think they were much money. You just put each socket in the matching hole. It makes things a lot easier when looking for a socket.
