Axl, a lot of info on lepto and the vaccines. When you get him straightened out, you may want to be careful on any boosters in the future. I had T on prednizone for quite a while and he was never a problem with wetting, but then again, he's been a super dog. As crippled as he is and as hard as it is for him to get around anymore, he always holds out till he feels he has to go.

Leptospirosis Vaccines adverse reaction, Dr. Jordan DVM

Don't no what to say about mom other than whatever was ailing her got a lot better faster than my recovery from dealing with it. I finally got a decent nights sleep last night into late morning today.

I always liked the idea of a camper like yours, I just always preferred tenting it. Back in the day, we used to take my ex's father's land yacht (38 feet of medal that cost more than most homes) to games with friends. They would sleep in the house on wheels and I was totally happy under the canvas.

Went in to the thrift store for the first time in weeks on Monday. Houston, we have a problem. The lady that started volunteering doesn't seem to understand that not everyone wants what she thinks they should want. I also got two more Ego batteries to try to repair. My repair on the first one held up so I'm feeling confident.

Axl, that sounds like a pretty good deal on the camping. At least for you anyway. I'm not so sure about the hubby.

Roth, that's good you got some rest. Things like that can wear you out mentally as well as physically.

Speaking of rest, I'm going to try to get to sleep a little earlier tonight. I didn't sleep well last night and I'm kinda dragging.

Maybe there was something in the air today Axl. I'm usually up by six to get ready for work. On the weekends its closer to nine. I've come to the realization that I'll probably never be a morning person. Heck I don't feel like I'm alive until I've chain vaped on the way to work and finished my first thunder berry portion.

That's what I like about second shift. I can sleep until the crack of noon... First shift starts at 6 am, so I was getting up at 4 to get ready to go.

When the boys were young we would go camping several times every summer. I loved it then, but tent sleeping isn't for me any more. Since we don't have a camper we haven't gone camping for about 5 years.

Hitt, I'll check out the socket trays. They sound promising.

Skrymr, I like the trays. I also have some of the ones that sears sells that is basically a stick with a rubber handle and the sockets snap onto it. I don't like them as well.

My work is still busy and I got more equipment in today. I'm working on five of these machines where each one has four welders built into one unit for construction sites. They have had a ton wrong with them and I'm already at around 16 hours on them. Should only take a few more to finish them once the rest of the parts come in.

Well back to the hospital today and another 3AM wake-up. I don't know what to make of this one though. She had a complete set of clothing on including shoes that she never wears. I commented to the nurse that perhaps the EMT had dressed her, but she said they wouldn't do that. A mystery. Anyway, home she went by 7. The nurse scared me when she said her grandmother lived to 104. I'm not sure I can survive that.

Which brings me back to my destroyed truck situation. I finally got paid by both the insurance company and the fellow that destroyed it. It actually worked out a bit better than I expected. I'd say I ended up about $500 over the actual value of the truck which should cover some of any additional surcharges from the insurance company. I decided to eliminate the truck which removes that insurance and truck maint and inspections.

I found a solid side 5x8 trailer from Ringo Hill Farms Trailers, manufactured within a half hour of me. For $1400 I can do all my truck could do and more since it's ramped with a wider bed. Now if I can figure out what's wrong with the brown wire (running lights) on my Bravada I'll be good to go. I hadn't used the hitch for a couple years and I was able to get enough of the corrosion out of the plug, but I need to do some diagnosis on the wiring. Anyway, I planned to pick it up Tuesday, but since I was up and had the SUV out, I called and it was ready to go so I got it today.

Other than that, not much happening around here other than lipping some

Roth that sounds like quite a bit going on. Nothing exciting here. It was just a normal day at work. After dinner I read for a while and now am taking a break. My energy level is pretty low tonight. I'm glad its not a workout night.

Ugh... Up by ten... Working OT today, and heading to Madison tonight to babysit some of the Grandkids for the weekend. It should be fun. Work was not fun this week. Too many problems with the new tooling. I think I got it though because I ran all night last night without any trouble with it. If I can string a few days in a row together like that I'll feel better about it.

Roth, That's too bad about you're Mom. Weird about the clothes. The trailer sounds like a good deal. Good luck tracing the wire. I've never really like doing electrical on vehicles. Probably because I don't know what I'm doing.... LOL

Hitt, what are you reading? I've been trying to get into the Wheel of Time serie's with little success.

Skrymr, I have been reading some fantasy books in the Dragonlance series. I read a trilogy in the series about twenty years ago or more and didn't realize that there were probably around a hundred books in the series. I haven't been reading anything current. My oldest daughter reads a lot and always points me towards books but I don't usually end up reading them. I did read one that she liked called the clockwork three. It was pretty good.

Hi gimpy. I wouldn't call my life exciting. It usually seems pretty boring to me.

Wiring's fixed and garden hose is fixed (developed a rupture last week). All is right with the world. One of those modern pinch connectors left loose under the tape. I used the old fashion repair technique- solder and electrical tape. I found another one of the wires was rubbed bare so I covered that in electrical tape, wrapped the whole length tight, covered it with split tubing and wrapped the end with more electrical tape. That should keep the wires protected for a while.

For anyone that hasn't tried this, muriatic acid does a great job of cleaning up copper oxidation. The green yuk was all over the inside of the female side of the four prong connector. I used commercial spray which cleaned it enough to get a connection, but I knew over time the buildup would cause an issue. I poured enough into a cup to submerse the plug in the acid and let it sit for maybe five minutes. Pulled it out and the copper was clean as new.

I am so sunburned. Apparently it is pull weeds around the waterfall time at work again. No one was around so I took off my shirt and now my back is RED! Oh well.

Hj is feeling REALLY good. Forgot what a lil jerk he is! ;) He's still on a full dose of pred until next friday. I am terrified that when I cut him back his symptoms will come back again. If they do, that might mean he is a pred 'lifer'.

Gonna be hot this weekend. What's everyone doing?

Yes Hitt, I had some dielectric grease around here years ago when I was using trailers more frequently, but I have a larger enclosed trailer that became a storage shed on wheels and a smaller one that I really should get rid of. The last time I towed anything, I borrowed my friends to bring home my zero turn and that's at least three years old.

I looked for the grease and couldn't find it. Will need to pick some up to keep everything healthy now that I'm towing again. It was bad enough I had to pick up a new wire probe when my old one went missing. That, I think, might be a fatality of my gf's son back in his live-in days.

The sun looks like it's briefly breaking through the clouds. It's not supposed to rain here until overnight, but rain gear is going into the scoot before I leave just top be safe.

Have a good day all. Starting mine off with

Ettan Original (kind of a blah long term storage snus)

Good morning. I stayed up way too late and just woke up a little bit ago. Axl, good luck with HJ going off the meds. You know, when you think no one is around, there's probably someone.

It's supposed to be really hot here this weekend. The neighbor behind me is having his annual bbq. He borrows a huge smoker to cook on and everyone brings a side dish. Sometimes he has live music but he wasn't sure if he could get a band this year or not.

Hi Roth. I just came in from mowing and putting down fertilizer. I was trying to get out before it got too hot but didn't make it. I'm sweating my .... off. It's supposed to be in the 90's here again. We've hardly had any rain for the past month or so. I'm dreading the next water bill from running the sprinklers almost every day.
