When people say clone they really mean fake - don't they?

Clone simply means a 1-1 copy or duplicate..its a copy of the authentic item...I wouldn't a call it a fake as its sold as a clone..Chinese clones are popular because they are cheaper than authentic..my authentic Zenith cost me $110 ..my brother got the clone for $21..side by side you can't tell them apart.. But the Chinese supplied screws stripped on the clone only being 2mos old..my authentic is still going strong..
The differences is probly in materials used and machining quality... I like authentic because they last...some people like clones because of price..I believe quality always comes first, but that's just me ..lol

smacksy nailed it right on the head. Clone means a copy of the original. Some clones are of lower quality than the original, others can be the same quality. The best way to know the difference in quality is to read reviews and discussions of the clone.
