First of all, what is the best e-cig? Joye 510, M401, 801, Janty, Ego etc???? I already have a AV808d-1 and I have to change the battery at least twice in one day. Sometimes after I put the new charged battery on and after a few inhales, the battery starts flashing. Hmmm.... Just really looking for best advice on the best longer vaping e-cig, got vapor, and good throuat hit, without changing the battery. Can anyone help please. I want my 2nd e-vig to be better than the first. THe 808d-1 is okay, but the battery doesn't last as long as I want it to. Please help.

From one vaper to another,
Skeeterkck

Skeeterck,

The short answer to your question is "there is not best PV". What it comes down to is personal preference, size, price range (among other things).

If you are looking for something with a better battery life I would say get an eGo (or anything with a bigger battery really).
There are many people here who have been doing this alot longer than I, and are more qualified to help.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Skeeter,
You probably want to look for a Riva, eGo, PigCig, or other "fat batt".
Your 808 probably has a standard 280mah(milliamp hour) battery.
Most "fat batt" PV's are rated at 600mah and up.
None of the 510, 401, & 801 batteries will last any longer than the 808.

Read this:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...5-wonderful-world-mods-illustrated-guide.html

and this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/67330-wonderful-world-vaping-part-5-6-a.html

and search YouTube for Riva, eGo, PigCig, Leo, and others.

I think it sounds like good advice to me. Pretty much you want something that looks fat like a mini cigar (size of a sharpie pen) and has AT LEAST 650 mah.

Here's how you figure out about how long the battery will go between charges: each 100mah is roughly equal to an hour of use. Your 808d1 is 280mah so should last about 3 hours until recharge time. Ego batteries are 650 mah so should last about 6 1/2 hours between charges.

You can also get the Riva510 at libertyflightsusa for 20% off (theres a 20% off button) and it's only $34 for the whole starter kit: 2batts, 2attys, charger, 5carts. The riva510 is an eGo knock-off, but it's a really good one and the battery is 750mah.

These kits come standard as a three piece e-cig: battery>atomizer>cart. but you can buy a box of 510 cartomizers for about $8-$10 if you still prefer the cartomizer system.

Finally got your newbie posts out of the way! Yeah if you want to *look* like youre smocking a cig then you are kinda stuck with recharging more often. If you want duration then eGo/Rivas and the like are the next step up, or maybe a mega 510 or kr808d-1?
Those are a bit longer in size but still thin like what you have. It stands to reason the longer batt would stay charged longer...someone correct me if I am wrong please.

Hey Skeeterkck. I've been vaping for about 3 months now. Before finding ECF, I was first vaping with an E---a brand, and it gave me nothing but trouble. I went to a 510, and was much happier. It's sized like a real cigarette, and works much better. The only problem is that with these thin, cigarette like batteries, they don't last too long. I'd been contemplating on getting an Ego. I wasn't sure how I would like using it because of it's fat battery, that is kind of "cigarlike" in shape. I pulled the trigger last week, and purchased an Ego T, after doing alot of research. Here's my take on it. If you can get past the fact that it is not the same size as a regular cigarette, then this is "IMO" great! The 650mah batts. last a very long time and recharge pretty quickly. The vapor production on this thing is awesome. The tanks are easy to fill, and you can see when you are running out of juice because of the clear tips. The draw on it is nice too. The regular starter kit comes with 2 650mah batts, 2 egoT cone attys, 7 refillable tips, total. and the charger. It works great for me, and I'm very happy with it. The only downside is that it works so well in producing vapor, that I am going through juice alot quicker. Other than that...It's great. I hope this info helps you out. I wish that I found ECF before my first Ecig purchase. Enjoy vaping!

eGo, Riva, or a mod is what you are going to have to go to. Most of us started with the "looks like a cig" models and quickly upgraded.

You are so right. At first I would only use ecig that looked like a real cigarette. I soon found this was not good enough. I then went on to mods. After you use a mod with 6.0 or 7.4 volts you can never go back to a regular ecig. I have several now and love all of them. The good part of this is you only have to change the battery one every day (I only change because you get better throat hit on a newly charged one) Another good thing about mod is your battery will rarely have to be replaced. Mods rarely break and can last years.

The eGo and eGo-T have an available matching 1000mah battery. Most people report these can last 8-12 hours without trouble. The tank system is getting great reviews, and I have just ordered one for myself on Saturday.

You can find out lots of information by searching eGo and eGo-T on Youtube.

My KR808D-1 batteries last me 3-5 hours, 2-3 for the shorties. KR8 standard length battery (makes 120mm ecig w/ carto) are the longest lasting standard slim ecig batteries. The 510 mega xl batteries are the same life but and make 125mm ecig w/ a carto, 130mm with atty and cart.

For longer battery life than that you need to go to fat battery models - Ego for example.

M401 - no - I like my M401 but would only recommend it to a smoker of slim ultralights with much patience for tiny carts.

Cassie, I did purchase a blue KR808d-1. I was going through my other two e-cigs in less than a day. Had to get another back up.
