bummer....I have a brand new power supply sitting here but it's a Compaq. So it has to Dell part for sure?
Dell likes making their stuff proprietary...

Hubby's company uses Dell computers. When people succeed in killing their machines the power packs wind up on a shelf in a storage room. He says they use more laptops than towers but he'll check Monday to see if there one of those laying around that he can get.

The 0M8805 is quite pricey some places but I found one the other day on pc911 I think was the site for 40, as for proprietary I'm not sure from the looks of the one I saw at that site a 24pin atx may work but I cannot confirm this as of yet

The busted computer gods are not smiling on us today. The power supplies hubby found at work were only 230w.
