I haven't even looked for 16 or 18 mm ones. So again, Google that crap before you complain that nothing is made to fit your devices.

You say you looked? There are multiple threads on this forum about smaller mtl tanks, rtas and rdas. So yes, this thread is a waste of time. Multiple people have pointed out that these attys are out there, yet you continue to complain that you can't find any. You ask for some to be pointed out, then when they get pointed out you complain that it's not the right ones. I was showing you that they are out there, not shopping for you. Now, again, the devices are out there, look for them yourself if you really want them.
Or hey, here's a idea, get a small 18650 mod, or a small lipo and stick a 22 mm on it, since you are convinced there are not any devices smaller than that.
Either way, idgaf.
So long
Farewell
Auf wiedersehen
Audieu

As to market pressure being the cause, I'm not sure that's true.
It seems to me that the mod manufacturers are playing the numbers game - higher wattge numbers mean More Betterer.
I still think that the 14500 mods, and accompanying tanks, are a niche market due mainly to the restrictions of the batteries themselves. Most people want a battery that lasts more than a few hours, though apparently some don't mind.
Yes it is...I am fine with that though - leaves more for me!!!I did say niche, not non-existent.
You may have to accept that you are not the norm. I'm not either. A single 18650 will last me over two days of regular use, but it wasn't like that for me in the beginning.I'm not sure that is strictly true. I use AW 14500s and they last me a day at work easily. I was never a chain-smoker so I don't chain vape. So I don't feel the need to constantly puff away on my device.
If you were a 20 a day smoker The average cigarette takes you five or so minutes to smoke. So if you vape on your device for five minutes 20 times a day that's an hour and 40 minutes of vaping. So your estimation of a couple of hours battery life doesn't seem so bad. Especially when you take into account the fact that during your five minute vape break you are not putting a continuous five minute load on the battery you are pulsing it as you vape. So a battery for me lasts a lot longer than a couple of hours. I leave the house with a fully charged battery and when I get home I swap it out for another fully charged battery and put the use battery on the charger. Charging only takes about an hour or so as it is a 14500 battery. I have never had any issues with battery life and I cycle between two batteries that I have been using for the last two years and they are still going strong.

I must say I have to agree with the OP.
I'm quite happy tootle puffing on my kayfun lites, but I recently helped a coworker choose his first device, and I had some trouble finding something suitable for him.
He went with a Innokin Endura T18 in the end and he's very happy with it, but I wasn't able to give him as many options as I had hoped.
He didn't want a crazy subohm dl tank or a 300w mod, he just wanted to quit smoking.
I let him try my Kanger Subbox Mini, and he found it too airy even with the air flow restricted as much as possible because he was expecting a pull like a cigarette.
I was hoping to give him the subtank as a gift because I no longer use it (I prefer mtl) but we couldn't get it set up to be enjoyable, because he also prefers mtl.
Restricting the air flow without being able to also adjust liquid flow means that you end up with a mouthful of liquid.
He loves the T18 and can't understand why there aren't more devices like it to choose from.
I'm sure there must be some out there, but they are definitely harder to find.
Considering people making the switch have less knowledge than seasoned vapers, it makes it very difficult for them to find the device that's right for them.
As to market pressure being the cause, I'm not sure that's true.

I think that's what is driving the market, not necessarily consumer demand, unless you count the fact that uninformed consumers may just base their decision solely on higher numbers.
