It still stinks that something can't be left out there!!!!
Apparently an Amazon package was delivered outside my apartment door earlier today or yesterday (I was home -- the mailman did not ring) and someone opened the box, took my 2 bottles of English Toffee stevia but didn't want my acidophilus pills so he/she tossed the carton with them still in it into the stairwell. That's where the porter found it.
It was only $15. Easy to replace. The building has its share of burglaries, but in 34 years here, I've never had anything stolen by what was probably a fellow tenant. And I get my medications mail order. So now I have a dilemma for future shipments.
It was delivered yesterday or early today. I was home. If the mailman had just rung my door We have large mailboxes in the lobby for USPS packages (although only a few are still in use as the other keys are missing) and Monday-Friday 9-5 the post office, FedEx, UPS, etc can leave things in the manager's office in the lobby. I think I'm going to put a sign on my door telling them not to leave packages for me in the hall.
Everybody but my son likes shrimp!
