Apparently an Amazon package was delivered outside my apartment door earlier today or yesterday (I was home -- the mailman did not ring) and someone opened the box, took my 2 bottles of English Toffee stevia but didn't want my acidophilus pills so he/she tossed the carton with them still in it into the stairwell. That's where the porter found it.

It was only $15. Easy to replace. The building has its share of burglaries, but in 34 years here, I've never had anything stolen by what was probably a fellow tenant. And I get my medications mail order. So now I have a dilemma for future shipments.

Sorry to hear that Poeia. People...suck!! Some anyway.

Can they leave packages with the porter/guard in the lobby?

It was delivered yesterday or early today. I was home. If the mailman had just rung my door… We have large mailboxes in the lobby for USPS packages (although only a few are still in use as the other keys are missing) and Monday-Friday 9-5 the post office, FedEx, UPS, etc can leave things in the manager's office in the lobby. I think I'm going to put a sign on my door telling them not to leave packages for me in the hall.

Yeah, that's it. You don't want the information in there loose too.

Ew ew ewwwwwwww..........now that is something I could never acquire a taste for........coconut shrimp! You eat as much of it as you want Fudgey.........hopefully Jan is fried hers! Not wild about it 'naked' either.

Shrimp must be fried!! Coconut shrimp is batter (beer batter) then dipped in coconut. Yummy!!!! You can't even taste the coconut!

They have the light rye bread, comes in little loafs and it's always hot when you get it.
