You guys ever get caught up, they need to hire more people so this doesn't happen again!!

I was sorta caught up until the phone started ringing today......LOL We have a temp and a new lady to replace the one that quit. But they don't know enough about things to be able to really help people.

DH starts his new job on Thursday!!!!

It's not easy being a temp. I was one once and I felt lost!! The job was for a couple of weeks and in an acct office. By the time I got onto what I was doing, it was over!!!

I can totally understand that and part of it is I don't have the time to find them things to do or I get interrupted by the phone when I am explaining something.

I know and that I understood. When I worked there, it was tax time!! 8-o

and it was just suppose to be answering phones and making appts.

It turned into something a lot more but no one had time to show me the ropes.

It didn't help that there was a major player out from surgery!

But I lived.

Glad you made it through it! I can't imagine how many emails we got after we left today.....8-o

I didn't have to deal with emails!!!

The people where I tempt were running around like crazy trying to get stuff done and I felt so bad for them.
Anyway when I say, I understand what you are going through, I truly understand!!

My favorite part today was calming down a former employee that didn't get his vacation paid out yet. He was not happy! He wasn't as bad when he left though

Glad he was smiling when he left though!!!

It wasn't supposed to be paid out yet......but his supervisor told him it would be

And it was vacation pay right?

We pay it out but not on his last check with worked hours. It gets paid out automatically with the time keeping system. Yes it was vacation time.

Well I hated to think the poor guy was on vacation without vacation pay.

I know that I'd hate it.
