My last prescription lenses were bifocals but, since I had my cataracts done, all I need is drugstore glasses for reading. At my last checkup, my doctor said I'm getting close to needing distance glasses as well but, as I don't drive any longer, I'll probably put it off. My distance vision is fine for walking.

I keep my driver's license up-to-date as it's the best form of ID but I haven't been behind the wheel of a car in at least 10 years. I consider myself a non-driver.

I remember you telling about that, Ralph. Who knows, maybe your grandchild will bring a lot of happiness into your life. :thumb:

I am sure he/she will. :)

You will love your grandbaby Ralph and even though there are problems, you will enjoy every moment of it...well almost!!!!!!!

How is your lady friend?

I know it. Just feeling sorry for myself is all. They (daughters) are supposed to be on their way on to their own lives, not taking up camp and hatching more.

She is fine and we are fine. She is in school now and I don't get as much time with her as I'd like. It's kind of a hard adjustment for me.

Well hopefully she is on her own at some point you in her life.

And school and work are like that...they tend to interrupt our personal lives.

Yes, those work/school interruptions are annoying!
