I'm fine, I didn't lose my power, but half the state of RI did and it won't be restored for a few days. I'm going to have an early lunch and then head out there and see what I can clear. We got 18" of snow here.

We have a statewide driving ban actually. The coastal towns lost their power but not us...........at least not yet. A scenic 26 or so inches of snow here.

Glad you both survived will no problems other than a lot of white stuff to deal with. I don't even have to do that. NYC got off easy and, living in an apartment building, I don't even have to cope with the clean up.

I was annoyed early this morning when I tried to find info on how bad it was. CNN, Weather Channel, etc. all had pics of Times Square and the Boston Commons. Times Square's snowfall didn't merit inclusion and there are whole areas of New England that are not in midtown Boston. Lazy reporting.

Well, Jan, the snowblower isn't working, the blades won't spin, so I will have to take it apart and see what's going on. It's probably a broken belt. That means that I have to use the shovel. I shoveled a path from the house to the street and from the house to the garage, which is on the next lot. That was it for today. We are getting a warmup and rain next week, so I will wait for some of this white stuff to melt, before I get my Dad's car out of the driveway. The Mustang stays in the garage. I'm moving to Tahiti.

Not a problem, Jan, anything that we might need in the near future is within a mile of me. I can walk there. The rain is going to be here Monday, so I should have his car out of the driveway, shortly after that.
