I agree. It's nice to be able to afford what I need. It's nice if one can afford extras but there's a certain point when you have to say "huh? You can't think of anything better to put your time or money into than that?"

What I love about the fly-whisk, however, is that someone actually thought of making it. And someone else said "Yes. I need ruby fly-whisk. This fan is just not special enough to keep the flies away from my marvelousness."

I guess they wouldn't have a problem re-selling it!

I haven't gotten the verification that I am not a spammer e-mail yet. But here's my review:

Didn’t Work for Me

In 2009 I again tried to use Nicorette gum to quit smoking. I say “again” because this was the 4th or 5th time I had purchased Nicorette since it came on the market. (In between, I had also tried acupuncture, Zyban, hypnosis and organized programs.) Over the years I had spent hundreds of dollars on Nicorette (and thrown out a hefty percentage of that when the unused gum passed it’s expiration date.)

This time was different. Nicorette had an on-line program to help. I joined. I followed it. And, when it once again didn’t work for me, I decided that I was done trying to quit smoking. I was tired of feeling like a failure.

A few months later I came across a picture of someone with an electronic cigarette and, despite my vow to quit quitting, I ordered one. Five days after it arrived I had my last cigarette. That was 3 years ago. During that time I have cut my nicotine level drastically and have never considered smoking a cigarette. Unlike Nicorette, PVs (personal vaporizers) address both my physical addiction to nicotine and my psychological addition to cigarettes (the “what do you do with your hands” problem.)

I know people who have quit smoking using Nicorette. I’m happy for them. But if you are not one of them, I’d urge you to try electronic cigarettes. It worked for me.

ETA: I had a paragraph about the pharmaceutical companies protecting their billion-dollar smoking cessation meds market but I didn't want to give them an excuse to not print it. The terms of service says I can't defame anyone.
