I have 8 weeks that I can't seem to even get one of. Maybe sometime this year.....

Jerry, any woman that wouldn't be willing to share the responsibility of an elderly parent isn't worth their weight in gold.

Hey everbody......Jan, Jerry, Fudgey, Jane, and Z! Working on my glucose....it's high and not wanting to come down any. Stupid food!!! My favorites shouldn't do this!!! :p

At least it's not "use it or lose it." But you'd think they'd give you the option to get paid for some of it at some time. Otherwise, when you retire, they're going to have to give you an extra year's salary.

Taking on a parent living with you in a new relationship is a hard thing. But in an established relationship, I totally agree with you. No one is complication-free.

Whenever you are getting near when you would lose some time you should submit a written request for a vacation and include the fact that your previous requests had been rejected and you are now at the "use it or lose it" point. Then you'll have documentation that you were forced to donate time to the company.

Or take off every Friday and work only 4 days a week. :D
