well shoot! I responded to the sale ad that was for the pink provari mini. Inside the ad it said also white mini for sale too.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...d-threads/427419-us-fs-provari-mini-pink.html
I saved all the messages.
I bought the white mini on 6-7.
waited until this fridays mail came and no provari before I messaged on the board here and to the email provided for paypal. Within the hour I got an answer via email. I have saved it. It states that the husband died on SAT. I was also given a different email to send information to and I have. I sent my regrets and the information asked for. I have heard nothing so far.

Sorry everyone my husband was put in ICU on Sunday 6/9/13. Please if you have not revived a tracking number all we can assume is it did not ship. I have no way of figuring all my husbands sales/trades out. So please if you did not receive tracking file a refund with PayPal and it will be issued. My husband love vapeing and this community. Sorry to everyone. And thank you heather Hudson

what i bolded doesn't sound like a scam...it sounds like an overwhelmed wife that was suffering and has suffered a loss that is trying to do the right thing.
if it was a scam why on earth would you be asked to cancel your payment?
i would give her the benefit of the doubt before jumping on the "scam!" bandwagon.....

just sayin'

seriously?

man this thread is *cynical*! too bad ya'll have lost the ability to have a little faith and compassion....

Just wondering if you feel the same way?? I alway trust my gut and 99% of the times it right.

Cynical I think not

i really don't understand the question.....
i don't have any information other than what is posted here (which is a lot of speculation).....
what if the seller had multiples of the same item?
if he was sick...maybe his mind wasn't right and didn't realize that he had sold the same item more than once?
I choose to look at all angles and possibilities of a situation before being negative, freaking out, and propagating it to the world.

maybe i am a pollyanna but i try to give the benefit of the doubt until i have ALL of the available information and ALL of my questions answered....i don't immediately (or ever) jump to someone being shady or putting one over on me.

my gut tells me that you don't scam someone by telling them to cancel a payment..usually you scam folks by KEEPING their money LOL

Apparently you don't have any money at stake here so your not looking at the situation as the people that have their hard earned money up in the air and from what it appears it well over $1k.

Ben told me he was trying to send out tracking numbers on Saturday 6/8 5:14pm but that he was at work and was super busy. He also assured me he shipped out 22 packages on Friday evening which apparently was *Not True*

His wife responded to my PM on Tuesday 6/11 10:19am stating her husband went into the hospital in Sunday 6/9. Now other members here in this thread have been told that Ben passed away on Saturday 6/8.....some where told Sunday 6/9. If this was the case why did she not say this to *me* when she replied to me on 6/11?

Sorry things do not add up. If he did pass away unexpectedly that is horrible and I feel sorry for his family.

Not familiar with this. Please tell what the difference is?

One says...I didn't get my thing...the other says...I got scammed

I didn't change mine yet but this all seems like bs

Speculation is that the thread had one 18650 G22 or sale, it was pending and I asked to be the back up. I was almost immediately told it was still available and paid or it. I also received this on 6/5 once I had paid

thanks im out of town for another day or two will send you tracking when ships, thanks, ben

The whole thing seemed bs'y at the start but since the money involved was not very high, I went ahead. Guess I should have trusted my gut too.

Lastly, she could have sent joker an obit or something so we could be sure. I'm not out to hustle a widow but I'm also not out to get jacked, until the latter is proven not to be true, I'll pursue a claim.

or maybe the sky is fallling!

no i don't have any money at stake but it is paypal for pete's sake...not like you sent cash money in an envelope via carrier pigeon...not like it isn't going to work out...

this post would make WAY more sense if there wasn't instruction to CANCEL your payment or if there had been ZERO communication. (to j0ker even)
why drag someone through the mud dead, alive, or surviving when there is no doubt you will get your beloved money...
in the case that he is in fact dead (which why would someone make that up?!) it isn't like he is going to be selling anything else for anyone else to be forewarned about...
