5months ago I got my first kit. That night at 5pm I smoked my last cig and never looked back. I am very proud but I know I could not have done it without an e-cig and this forum. It gave me the knowledge to find what works for me. For that I am very grateful for. Not everyone can do it that fast and that is ok too. You will find what does it for you.

On November 5th I finished my cigarettes in the morning, went down to the gas station where I usually buy them, picked up an e-cig starter kit and bought it. I haven't had a cancer stick since, and I was ~2 packs a day. It was tough at first, mostly because I realized on the first day I needed a second battery and didn't want to buy 5 cartos every other day for $12, but I found ECF, began ordering stuff, and have made it this far. I've been confident from the second week that I wasn't ever going to fall back, and with each day I feel stronger.

My last cigarette was seven months ago. I didn't quit the first time I picked up a PV and choirs of angels on high didn't sing the first time a took a drag of vapor. In fact, I gradually replaced the cigarettes I smoked each day by vaping until I was down to a couple of smokes a day. Then I tossed out the last pack and quit for good.

It doesn't matter if you quit smoking the first time you pick up a PV or months later, like I did. The important thing is to quit smoking completely whatever way you can.

I quit the 1st full day I had my ego-c. It took some effort but now on only day 3 I already can not fathom going back to regular cigs. Also, I watched The Insider which is about the big tobacco whistle blower. That helped piss me off at big tobacco and further reenforced my will. I will NOT EVER give them another cent of my money. Watch that movie. It is a great film however for us new vapers it is also very educational and gave me more reason to hate cigs. Only 3 day in and I have zero desire to smoke. The right juice makes all the difference in the world too. Dont go to tobacco only flavors. Try tobacco mixed with another flavor that you think you might like. The extra flavor (berry in my case) made it taste more like a real cig. I just look at this whole adventure as if I switched brands. Cigs are one thing only. A nicotine delivery system. So is an e-cig but it is just way better for your health. 3 days in and my lungs are already clearing out gunk and what tasted a little sweet is now way too sweet.. I love this !! I feel I am taking my life back.

I started off with a Blu, which worked pretty good at keeping me away from cigarettes. Wasn't cutting it after a while so I did my research and discovered the vape world. Bought me an Ego-C Upgrade, and I also have a Silver Bullet now. Good stuff, can't believe it took me this long to find out about vaping or else I would have quit smoking years ago.

Not sure I should reply here but.... one month in, I'm still doing 4 analogs a day. Trouble is: When I vape a signature blend tobacco I don't smoke but when I vape plain fruits I do. At this point in my education, I'm not going to vape anything I don't know the contents of and can't find a vendor that will divulge all the info needed... especially signatures... so... guess I'll be smoking 4 a day.
That's crazy the vendors you have found that WON'T divulge the contents!!! I care about the juice more then anything else!!
www.freedomsmokesusa.com see their home page & forum page for exact info. All USA ingredients (except flavors from FlavortArt (Italy) from USDA Inspected ingredients. You control nic level
(0-36 mg.) on all blends & you can even control pg/vg ratio on all non "specialty" blends. It's a brick & mortar store here in Tucson but sell on-line everywhere & ship FAST. Juices are great but harware inventory is really inconsistent, marked up, knock off's & frustrating

If you want to go even above that...organic, natural & even packed in glass bottles vs. plastic... Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes all VG & PG is only added upon your request.

Got my starter kit 8 days ago. The very first evening I started vaping I loved it! I started around 5pm when my kit arrived. My wife and I usually have a smoke at bedtime around 10:30. I lit up an analog, took two tokes and put the nasty thing down. Haven't touched an analog since.

I was lucky not to have any withdrawal symptoms, however, it may help that I'm on xanax to begin with :p I also started on the lowest nic level, 6mg. So I think if I decide to get off of nicotine altogether, hopefully it shouldn't be that hard.

I've found that having a lot of different flavored carts and juices helped. All the experimenting with the flavors and the variety of tastes has turned into my new hobby. Just trying to be careful not to go too crazy and spend too much. But I am loving trying all the different flavors. I had no idea there were so many out there, especially at ECBlends. They give you the option to mix flavors, pg/ vg levels, nic levels, add sweetener, menthol, or sour flavors. I've turned into a 'Mad Chemist' I've even created my own juice that is so close to an Almond Joy bar, I almost want to eat my pv :p

Good luck and happy vaping!! :vapor:

Vice versa for me. I quit smoking a few weeks ago and I'm hoping this takes the edge off. Long time heavy smoker. The Ms certainly doesn't mind me not smelling like an ashtray. Cigarettes are crap and I'm glad to be rid the habit. Kudos to anyone that was able to quit because of e-cigs. Technology and innovation; ***k yeah!

A friend gifted me through the mail an eGo 650 mA batt, a 650mA passthrough w/ the usb, 2 cartomizers, 1 atomizer, 2 driptips and several bottles of juice. I received it on April 28th of this year.
I stopped smoking ciggys that day and have never gone back. I don't even know where my lighter is anymore, lol
And the funny thing is, I don't even think of an analog anymore, even if I find myself without my PV.
I feel so good now and have experienced so many physical improvements (some that I didn't even realize were related to smoking), you couldn't pay me to pick up another analog.
