I ordered a PV on a whim...had cut back my 3 pad a bit with lozenges, but couldn't maintain it. I never thought I would quit, but hoped it might help me cut back. I smoked 4 cigs the first day just because I thought I needed them or should need them or something. Smoked 2 the second day and 1 the third day....now I've been smoke free for 3 1/2 months. So for me it was nearly instantaneous, although I didn't intend it to work that way...it just did. My wife smoked 2-3 per day for a week or two before she quit completely.

Not sure I should reply here but.... one month in, I'm still doing 4 analogs a day. Trouble is: When I vape a signature blend tobacco I don't smoke but when I vape plain fruits I do. At this point in my education, I'm not going to vape anything I don't know the contents of and can't find a vendor that will divulge all the info needed... especially signatures... so... guess I'll be smoking 4 a day.

Or you could do a bit of research and make your own juice to fulfill the need to know all the contents AND tastes, and you could quit the cancer sticks altogether! :)

I totally switched the day I've received my first e-cig. At first I was not convinced about flavours other than real tobacco but once I've tried a cherry flavour that gave me better TH than my tobacco flavours, I stopped focussing only on tobacco flavours.

In 8 month of vaping I might have smoked 5 or 6 real cigarettes, but most of the time just to test myself or to see if I really was done with it. Now, real cigarettes are not satisfying at all and what I really do need to be satisfied is the vape texture and feeling. I don't even know if I would consider smoking a real cig if I was out of juice now.

Haven't quite kicked the stinkys just yet. But going from my 1 PAD habit down to two cigarettes a day is something I thought I'd never do. I usually get the strongest cravings right after meals. I've got the morning time beat since I'm not really a breakfast eater. Usually a couple pieces of toast and I'm out the door.
I think all I need is a good strong tobacco flavor for when the after meal craving hits. My new sampler should be here tomorrow.

First a disposable (and some Snus), since I was visiting a non-smoking friend for a week, and wanted to minimize going outside to smoke. 2 weeks later, a cheap 'cigarette-sized' one from DX, with 2 10ml bottles of liquid. 2 weeks later, another disposable (its battery died, so modded to be a pass-through, dripping what liquid I had). Then ordered a 510 starter kit. It was waiting for me when I got home from work on a Monday, and I alternated chain-vaping/chain-smoking for the rest of the evening. Tuesday morning's first cigarette tasted like burning leaves (Duh!). I realized if I wanted to quit smoking, that was a *perfect* time to try. That was 4 months, 4days, 10 hours ago. Still having cravings, but don't want to taste burning leaves again, so I'll have an extended vaping session.

It will be 100 days this weekend, since my last cigarette.

I started about 5 months ago with Blu disposables... smoking analogs and the disposables at the same time. When I got the JC Vea... I stopped smoking for a week and vaped exclusively. Lit up an analog after a week and it tasted totally nasty, put it out and threw it away after 3 puffs... I kept the last six that were in the pack for this very reason. I threw the other 5 away and haven't touched another one since, I have been analog free for 4 months
