First come first serve but make a master list of all that have already begged for it. Untill all of the people on the list have been able to get theirs, (if they still want it), the first persons recieving their orders will have to wait untill all have had a chance to get some before they can order it again.
Well, something like that. Unless the next batch is going to be much larger. Just a thought anyway.
The problem being, this could be time consuming for you, ugh...

Arm wrestle, best 2 out of 3? :)
Seriously tho, I agree with DSpin - first come first served when the order page goes up. From what I've seen maybe 50%
of those who say they'd want it would/could purchase when its up anyway. The problem I think is how to determine the
real ongoing market without some sort of feedback from the initial purchasers...

I agree, I think those that really like it or fall in love with it, will most assuredly come back and say so, not necessarily a long review, but a few words about what it was to them.

It would be nice if those who committed to purchasing could get first crack at it, since I think most of us DID feel that we were making a commitment. However, if this is too much of a burden on you I would understand

I get a ton of emails on a daily basis making the same commitment. Thats the problem, and my concern. Its not like I can meet the needs of everyone who also said the same thing. Thats what worries me the most. I like Dspin's input, and think it will probably turn out that way. This is in such limited supply that there will be others who will be upset because they did not get a chance to make a purchase. That why I thought about delaying the roll out and giving out several samples (2-3 samples per week) till I can meet the demands. Also Judybr made a good point about a master list, and time consuming.

Two options at point of purchase :

Yes, I wish to be a part of WTA's development. I will leave feedback at ........ This feedback entitles the purchaser to x% off a future WTA purchase.

No thank you.I don't wish to participate.

-----------------------

I don't know if this is possible by the numbers involved, Jerry, but if not, perhaps you could control the impact by expiring after x amount of orders.

I'm not sure if this is a question you can answer, but do you have any idea of what you expect as far as demand v supply ratio?

Dspin makes sense to me...put it up for sale when you intended and let the chips fall where they may. It's nice that you are concerned about making it available to as many customers as you can,but there are worse things than having a product that is high in demand.

And if the reviews that are out there are any indication of what this product can do, I'm gonna bet that anyone who is miffed if they didn't get in on the first roll out will get over it in plenty of time for the second batch.

I'm surprised that all of the initial testers didn't all leave some sort of feedback. As much as I want to try it, I'd still like to hear from the rest of the group.

I would like to hear more as well. On the beta test only 4 did not leave feedback. Well one did but it was a one line response (posted elsewhere and not in the beta thread). There was a video review along with others posting reviews in other threads except the beta thread. The responses from others who don't post on ECF seem positive as well.

Were the people who posted in the beta thread among those who have struggled with that 'itch' that has kept them on analogs or just some that you chose because you felt you would get an honest opinion? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'd like to hear from some who have not been successful making the switch to ecigs.

As before, no need to give out free samples, just put it up for sale, no need for fooling w/a lottery either. Just do it dignified and business like. "WTW will be for sale sometime on 9-24-11."

I had a couple very nice sports cars over the years. Everybody I knew said they wanted to buy it when I sold it because of how I took care of them. When the time came,(price was trade in to family & friends) everyone who wanted to buy one - Nobody did. That's my point here. Just my 2 cents.

Wondering if it is possible for you to sell 3ml bottles. Don't know how well the juice works. Sounds great but it might not be satisflying enough. Aren't there hundreds of trace akilods in tobacco? Wonder if what you isolated works the best. I am more inclined to get a 3ml bottle if they are available. You can also sell it to more people.

I like your thinking and that's the way I will go. Even though supply is limited.

I agree. Free samples are fine when you're introducing a new product that you have in abundant supply... or for beta testing... But if there is a shortage, it's just going to create more chaos.

I'll be happy to buy a 3 or 5 ml bottle. I'll be happy to write a review. If you run out, I can wait.

Let's not make it any more complicated than it needs to be.

Just my :2c: :)

Yes. Either a free-for-all on order day or a lottery would be the most fair to everybody. Most everyone should be aware that there's a limited supply and would have no reason to be upset if they got shut out.

Ding! Just the way it goes... 90% will absolutely commit to buying when available. 20% of those actually do when it's time to submit payment.

A lottery is a nice idea but orders of magnitude more work and delay... "JoeVapor, It's been a week since I notified you that you were selected in the lottery but I haven't recieved your order/payment yet"... Who's going to chase that?
