I bought a DNA30 and have it now with a 2.0 build on my Russian. Swapping it back and forth between my Vamo and my new dna, there seems to be a difference in taste/vapor. This part I don't understand fully: why on the same watts w. the same atomizer do these two devices perform differently?!? The dna is definitely better but I'm not sure why. Also, even with my current 2.0 build I can push the wattage up on the DNA w/o burning but not so on the Vamo. Why?!?

The difference is in the way the two devices deliver power to the coil.
The Vamo uses a cheap 33.3 Hz pulse width modulation regulator, the so-called "rattlesnake effect". The DNA does not use a pulse width modulation regulator. A Provari, MVP, and iTaste VV3 use a much higher PWM frequency which simulates the DNA vaping experience.
