lol seeing how the vamo in short mode is just 15 mm shorter then a provari in 18650 mode its still not little. so no worries.

That is Something I Never Understood.

A Vamo in 18350 Mode is Longer than a Regular 18490/18500 Provari. ...?

Not sure why some Just out of College Wiz Kid Engineer couldn't place the guts a Little Higher in the Vamo? But for the Price, you Can't have Everything.

because people want the screen and a lot of buttons on the same side. look at it. if you put the screen opposite the buttons on the other side thats 10 to 12 mm right there.
and you need the board to go past the screen so you have stability and wire contacts for the head so add another 5-6 mm.

Yeah... that is probably it.

I think it is Funny when I see someone on the Street pull out a 7" PV with a 6ml Tank topped by a 1" Glass Drip Tip and then try to Stealth Vape.

LOL

When I'm Out and About, I want something Small that fits in my pocket. Lately even my 18350 Vamo seems a Tad Large.

I've been using a 400mAh Vision Spinner with a CE2 a lot for short trips. Works Great.

Rocking a ProVari Mini with 800mAh Efest 18350's and a 700mAh AW IMR 18350 and generally the 6ml Smoktech DCT on top. No complaints here. Battery lasts through a day at work and then some before I change out at home.

Don't really worry about stealth factor, more just how comfortable it fits in my hand.

Yeah, I just use my ProVari in extension 18650 mode 98% of the time. I work long days and vape about 6-8 mls/day, so need two 18650s to get through it, so the smaller batts are out of the question.

Additionally, I have never trusted 18350s. They talk funny, and pray funny, too.

Ok thanks, I can stack the 18350 because I have a telescope, and I do have an 18650. So me thinks I need to get another charger for now, and those 18650's take a while to charge....
So I think eventually I see myself with another charger two more 18350's and one more 18650.
But damn I'm at home today and I went on the patio to vape, sheesh gotta get used to the xtra weight.
So tomorrow will be an interesting experiment.
I was carrying my two joyetech 900 mah twists and my egov-v2. What irked me about the twists is there is no battery indicator.
The light doesn't change when the power gets low you have to gauge by the power of the vape.
So we shall see I am encouraged by getting 8hrs out of the two batts. I replaced them at about half way.
Thanks

i tried my Vamo in 350 mode. umm, still not too stealthy.

i just got something cheap called a Gripper that uses a single 18350. i'm really liking it for on-the-go. but today while driving i had a random thought about a warning i read somewhere about the dangers of letting batteries discharge too low that made me worry a bit, since the Gripper is really my 1st "mech".

i'm using Efest IMR 800mah 18350.

First, as long as you use protected batteries they have a circuit that shuts them off before they can over-discharge them. Second, the IMR batteries you are using are an even safer chemistry than the protected batteries have. In a nutshell, don't worry about it, you've bought right and will be fine!
As for the OP, I also love the form factor the 18350 gives me! I get 6-7hrs on my Provari mini and will gladly give up the runtime for form factor! No, it's not going to run a mech with sub-ohm coils well! I really don't think anything runs them that well!

I think you got CGR Panasonic 18650 button tops 2250 mAh with your SVD correct? If so you have some very good batteries

Yes I have the SVD, and Panasonic 18650 it's 2600 mah, but 18350's aren't that good. Are the AW's the best out there in the 18350 class?
That Panasonic does rock....
Thanks very much.
