Why are "SUPPORTING SUPPLIERS" of this forum still making absurd claims?

lmao Some prices are better than others :D
I own both the Ruyan v8 and the Ruyan Bright e-pipe. Paid a heck of a lot to find out if they're any better. So far, no. Finish is nicer on them, but performance is slightly better than a generic 801 and equal with the pipes.

Sometimes one company has higher costs than another and thus has to charge more. My profit margin is pretty slim because I haven't joined the ranks of the elite, I could justify charging more for my product but I don't because I don't want to be torn to shreds on ECF :D

Also add in the factor that labor in China is disgustingly cheap. When I first started communication with my sales reps, I was amazed at the hours. Instead of concentrating on business, I would just discuss life in China. Her hours are are Monday-Saturday 8am-11pm and she would be there later sometimes. I would ask her when she bought groceries and did the everyday things that need to be done in life. I don't know her wages exactly but it isn't much. A few times I actually told her to go home because it was so late.

While you may think the US suppliers are ripping you off, the Chinese companies are ripping off their employees. Better them than you I guess, right?

for the record the original claims were based on a puff count.. not a nicotine delivery count.. ignorance and copy and paste has done the rest..

Learn something new everyday. I always thought it had to do with the number of drops the cart would hold and basing a cig off of 2 drops. Like my cart holds 20 drops which is equal to 10 cigs so saying its equal to half a pack is technically accurate in regards to how much liquid it holds even though only half that will vape and I'll only get about 5 cigs worth before I've got to top off.

I will say I have seen many new suppliers that as their traffic picks up and I'm guessing their orders from the manufacturers get bigger meaning their costs go down, their prices drop to reflect that. I've paid more because of the faster more personalized service I've received from the "little guy". I've also paid more for some things from some bigger places because I felt the longer warranty justified the higher price. I easily see someone paying more to get a certain logo. That stands for any product.

The 1st e-cig I saw was a closeout deal on the Health e-cigs. Did I hit buy-It-Now and get a great price on a piece of junk? Nope. I googled e-cigs. I think that brought up SE and njoy. Did I buy? No, I kept looking. Spent a week looking into and emailing e-smokey and PS before finally settling on PS. E-smokeytreats was about eh $25-$30 more at the time I think. Would I have been ripped off by purchasing? When you consider the warranty, I don't think I would have. I didn't have the benefit of ECF at the time, but I think I did alright and certainly anyone else is capable of the same.

I bolded the part that I am addressing.

April 25th I found out about the E-cig. He was selling the DSE901 for at least 60$USD. And that was discounted to me because he and I have been friends for over a decade. I simply could not afford the price.
April 26th I started to do a bit of research which led me to an auction type site and it had a DSE901! Cheap! I was totally like SCORE! It was only after that I found out that the seller had her own website, and I could have gotten it for 5$ cheaper. lol!

It also wasnt until recently that I didnt know that this seller was a seller on here. When I saw a thread that she made, I made sure to compliment her on her awesome shipping, and reasonable prices.

AFTER purchasing though, I found THIS forum, and immediately joined. Got my E-Cig, Got my Juice.... and the rest is history :D

Not all noobs are umm... dim-witted. Some of us just do alot of research on our own because we are not lazy, and Google is our friend :D hahaha

right , i was not taking a stab at all noobs... i was just making a broad generalization.

i discovered and joined this forum only after spending $$$$$$ on a junky smoke51 starter kit....

and i don't want other noobs to get scared away by high prices and flat out false claims by (as trog puts it) copy and paste suppliers...

the one (possible rip off example) i often mention and its always ignored is being charged over 22.000 dollars per imperial gallon for e liquid when sold in little plastic rubs called carts...

this is what the first big e cig names charged for e liquid..

this is also connected to the false claims.. "one cart equals" twenty cigs stuff.. at five dollars per cart without the "misleading" claims no one would have even contemplated buying the stuff..

ruyan started it.. others simply copied the idea and the price.. at first it was one huge money making machine..

now it a rats nest of too many sellers fighting over the crumbs.. all trying to "out cheap" or "out promise" each other for customer sales..

things have changed somewhat over quite a short time..
