aren't all the unskilled, the labour, the construction and the factory jobs in the US filled by Mexicans and other foreign workers etc. who are still taking all their money out of the US anyway?

They earned it, they can spend it how they want, AFAIC.

You should go backside in the horse racing tracks. Unbelievable amount of hard work these people do. Mostly spanish speaking folks. And they are NOT taking jobs from anyone......there's no US kids banging down the doors during the 100 degree summers to carry hay, groom, and hot walk for 12 hour days. And they aren't there in the winter in zero degrees either, carrying 200lb feed sacks and mucking stalls in the cold at 3a.m. in the morning.

You earn your money, you can spend it or send it........it's yours to do as you please with.

This is an environment I know intimately, and believe me, they are always short handed. A few trainers will tell you they almost didn't get stables in places like MD......they can't find enough workers. (and by the way, the pay isn't "terrible"....it's not good, but it's not slave labor either. )

I would like for people to support USA made goods.

been thru that hoop before. On another forum. Several hundred people tried to prepare a list of USA made goods.
It was pretty tough......half of the ones posted weren't usa made. They were only assembled here. Or vice versa.

cooperation is what works......all this "us versus them" doesn't work. Everyone could be allowed to do what they do best, and then get together to produce. that is what would serve all of humanity. Us versus them is just going to leave a world littered with other human beings who somehow end up on the short end of the stick due to many factors.

I'm sorry, but I find no solace in knowing that an American child is not starving, but an Asian or Russian or _____. one is. It is human suffering, plain and simple, so I guess I don't quite get the "patriotism" of it all. Those lines you see on the maps are drawn by men, not by God.

The only reason I keep buying USA and not others, is because the one time I did buy Chinese, I went and spent some big dollars on lots and lots of what was supposed to be VG based liquid. I got it and the stuff was just as this as water. That has discouraged me from buying anything other then American since. I also like to support vendors that live in my own country and are working hard to make a life for themselves.

I've noticed the US made PV's sure do break down less than the Chinese ones.
You must have good luck. I bought 5 different American made ecigs. They all were junk. Of course, I did not buy the super duper everyone wants one Provari. Instead I bought a z-max and lovin it. I bought it from a Canadian company. Oops!

Could you list those 5, or maybe just a couple?

Very well put my friend and I could not agree more.

China is simply the new Japan IMO. For the "older' crowd do you remember the same conversations about Japan in the late 70's and 80's. The American auto industry was struggling to keep up with better made, less expensive, and more efficient cars coming from Japan. America was up in arms then about "buy American" and down with Japan. Look where we are now in regard to Japan. Their culture has changed greatly, standards of living are up, and we share a good trade with them. Now, look at the situation in China today compared to 5-10 years ago. Although the standard of living, work conditions, and environmental concerns are not on par with the US and Japan, they are improving. The people of China will continue to pressure the gov't to make necessary changes. Wait 10 years, who will be the next China? Indonesia, the Middle East, Africa? Global trade will continue, change and evolve. Get used to it.

I do subscribe to buy American made juice - it doesn't guarantee quality, but definatly helps the cause. American inventors of new mods, methods, and devices - thank you and I will support your business when I need your products, but for standard eGo batts and clearo's I have no problem with the Chinese products.

Now, off my soapbox and off to the family Christmas party where I will vape in style with my mix of Chinamerican vaping setups:toast:!

There are a lot of reasons, but here are the three big ones. - 1) Quality. US, Canadian, European, and former Soviet Block modders either make quality products or no one buys. 2) Innovation. Without guys and gals like REO, Buzzkill, Breaktru, Hoogie76, Mamu, Most Angry Pirate, Zen, etc etc etc, e-cigs would not be making these giant forward strides in performance. 3) Chinese manufacturing and human rights abuses can stir some emotions... I'll start a new paragraph for #3

If you have never visited a Chinese manufacturing/shipping hub like Shenzhen or Chengdu, then it isn't so easy to understand. 99.999% of the Chinese vaping items you've purchased were made by 12-14 year old Chinese girls earning a few cents an hour or maybe a few dollars a week working 14-18 hour shifts and housed in factory owned dormitories - and paying for their meals, housing, and personal items directly out of their company pay leaving them nearly zero, and sometimes less than zero disposable income. They might be able to leave if they want to, but many are not much better off than slaves. Some people have a serious moral issue with this.
Some citations to back up your claims that there would be no innovations without the companies you name would be nice...otherwise it's nothing but hyperbole. Buying American just to buy American is silly and wrong-headed. Competition is what drives innovation, not sloganeering and nationalism.
