Why do people say RDAs put out better flavor than RBAs?

a genny with a ceramic wick IMO gives better flavor than a dripper, but there is no way around it that it will cook the juice and as you vape the flavor will be muted.
Ok the facts:
Fresh juice on coils creates the best flavor
warm or hot juice, flavor gets muted a bit
The wicked vaped juice on a genny is connected to the tank and mutes as you vape it down
A proper set-up genny does put out great flavor and vapor but no where in ball park with a proper set-up dripper..

Its the nature of genesis wick being in the juice and sitting with unicorns.
Dripper freshly squeezed juice is hard to duplicate without using titanium..

Im still wondering how you got a .6 on a kayfun? now that is amazing and duals would definitely clog airflow and no way in actual life would your statement be true... IDK seems not legit there guy.. But it could be two 1.2 micro's but the the airhole being clogged again how is that possible. .7 or .8 ok but .6 lol hella hard..
I never said I was using dual coils.

Single microcoil. 5 wraps on 5/64 drill bit w/ 28g kanthal = .6-.7 ohms. The one in my kayfun now measures .6

Basically every reason I can think of summed up:

- Most RDA's have more air flow than most gennys
- Gennys slowly "cook" the juice in the tank, so the flavor slowly mutes as you work down a tank.
- Most RDA's have a smaller cap volume than a genny
- RDA's can generally push more wattage than a genny because wicking isn't a concern
- Differences in wicking material

Those are rough guidelines. Some gennys have huge airflow (the kraken!) some gennys have tiny chambers (kraken, pulse-g, turbine, mini DID) some RDA's have huge flavor muting chambers (igo-w patriot omega) some gennys have more insulation for the tank so they don't cook juice as much, etc. When you are comparing a well designed genny to a well designed dripper the differences are a lot smaller between them.

I'm not a big genny fan (kayfun ....) but IMO tanked attys have their place, as do drippers. I use my drippers when sitting on the couch at home when I want the biggest clouds and most flavorful vapor, and having a ucan helps a lot with making the dripping process not suck. I used my tanked atomizers any time I leave the house.

I prefer kayfuns to gennys simply because they don't leak and they are more hastle free. If I was looking for a tanked atty to use at home I would go with a genny. IMO kayfuns can't match the flavor of a genny or rda and cook juice quicker than a genny, the exception being the Aqua. Thing arguably vapes better than my tridents.

Ceramic is a gimmick wick. If you have a fishtank and know about airstones then ya know porosity, it wont last long.

Probably the greatest wick for the wealthy its unbeatable for the purest flavor but clogs and is fragile. I so wanna try a ceramic wick lol..

I kind of want to mess with ceramic wicks... It's a lot cheaper if you can heat treat it in bulk yourself right? I have a kiln...

How are you comprehensible, I thought it was written somewhere, "all Colo and Wash residents to be on couch eating snacks curing the munchies giggling.

I have no idea about the workings of ceramic wicks other than click, click, make order ..

They break really easy are hard to set up and then will clog pretty quick if you vg heavy..
I would call that gimmicky any day ..

But the greatness, if you know about Moroccan cooking and ceramic, ya know there is nothing that cooks like it on Earth we rudimentary cook in our lil' wee' tiny stoves.
Ya also know everything sticks to it and is hard to clean.. Ever clean mac and cheese out of ceramic and ya know, wealthy peeps wick, my wick must last a month or many months for my budget. lol..

i don't vape mac and cheese....they don't break easy...some people seem to break them easily, once you learn how to handle them you stop breaking them. I don't vape heavy vg. you can boil the wick in water, soak it in everclear or simply torch it it glowing red. if you don't vape really dark juices they will last a long time.....empty your tank hold the wick under steam like a milk frother, or really hot water dry burn it, and your good to go.set up is a breeze..no hot spots once you master dealing withe the material it's simple, and yes you will break some wicks before you develop a touch for it.

I've had a ceramic wick in a kfl for two weeks before I cleaned the wick and wrapped a new coil. what kind of wick do you use that lasts many months. ss ss cable? I've been curious about trying cable.also ceramics is a very safe material.
all modes of vaping have their trade offs I'm willing to put up with the trade off for a far superior flavor, and you can go and read the ceramic wick threads and find all kinds of people vaping with it not just the wealthy peeps, there's even poor homies , and some middle class[ posses.Zen the maker of the Zen atty now includes ceramic wicks when you purchase a z-atty......he doesn't need a gimmick.

You can mill your own wicks from a block of sintered aluminum oxide, the block will cost about 7 dollars and maybe the same in shipping, and you can get about 30 or more wicks from it if money is your concern.QUOTE=Visus;11772326]They break really easy are hard to set up and then will clog pretty quick if you vg heavy..
