I think I might have just gotten lucky that I started vaping when I did having things like the RSST available. I read about people having a hard time with genesis atomizers and it blows my mind. But then again, the RSST is basically fail safe.
I've had trouble getting my RSST to perform the way I want. I like a warm vape with lots of flavor, and even though building the RSST isn't difficult, getting the build to work the way I want is tricky. SS wicking isn't always foolproof, and the fact that the cap is HUMONGOUS doesn't help the flavor/warmth. I've finally found what, to me, is the best setup for it. I use 1/16" SS cable, fully sleeved in 400 or 500 mesh, with a 3 wrap (4/3 I guess) of .8mm flat kanthal (~.8Ω). I use that same setup in my AGA-T3, and it works even better, due to the reduced chamber.
