I'll have my fingers and toes crossed for yas.

It's pretty serious when the media tries to invent a new category for your storm.

Stay safe and check in once the storm's passed, will ya!

Yeah you're right and thx, will do. Not too good at dodging these. Been thru too many inc Donna and Andrew. But this one, ehhh. I remember Matthew off Andros, said to be Cat 5. Gal down in Anguilla was streaming Irma's landfall last night and I stayed up with her (see 10>). Y'all be the judge. I'm only a sailor, so dunno. But they sure have sold a lot of pumpkins.

I began vaping with a mechanical mod, moved on to the low-powered first generation regulated mods, returned to using a mechanical to use my sub-ohm coils (because the 1st gen reg mods weren't powerful enough to fire them), and since getting a couple of the more powerful latest generation regulated mods that's pretty much what I use exclusively now.

I've run through the entire cycle over the last few years that I have been vaping. It's nice to be able to adjust my vape on the fly with a regulated mod; and it is comforting to know that the safety circuitry of a regulated mod keeps me quite a bit safer than my mechs.

I use both depending on my needs. If I need to dash out or I know I won't be paying the correct amount of attention I'll pick up a regulated device.
I prefer using the mechs though.

I don't sub-ohm so my battery life is great.
I use mtl, high nic, pretty much the same flavours so I'm all good.

It's weird. Maybe it's a mental thing but I find the hit just generally 'better' from mechs. I buy expensive mechs (let's not get into it) but cheap regs and I find they're all a little 'off'? o_O on wattage.

I agree with “better”
I like the taste from the mech.
I like the direct voltage with no pulsing.
My only complaint is having to change battery more often.
