I love it! But on my monitor it looks almost pumpkin.
My dining room/office in Tampa will be a yellow..hopefully a pale yellow, but I want one brighter wall. maybe that's the color.

It does have a hint of orange almost a golden yellow............with the red walls in the living room it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs...........lol. Once we get the gloss white trim up I think it will be fine. Now I have to pick out colors for our bed and bath rooms.......I'm not a decorator. I have a drill serg bringing her daughters to my office to decorate. I'm just not the into it. I know weird for a female :D

We painted my daughters room OSU orange, not for OSU just because thats her fav color. It looked really good with the white trim. I even liked it, and I am not one for bold dark colors on the walls.

My daughter's favorite color is orange and has been since she could say the word! When we were kids I remember favorite colors being red, blue, green. Funny how things change over the years. Her new room will be painted white then a rainbow of colors "splattered" on. I bought the sample size colors for her to use. Once I have the white on, I'm letting her go crazy splattering THEN I will put the flooring in. Her and a friend have already done the ceiling fan and they had a ball. Now just to get the white done..........maybe this weekend :)

*chants* more pics, more pics!

Got any more to share? :)

Hopefully this week we will get my daughter's room done then I'll have more to share. We have a small house...............1000 sq ft. My hubby made 1/3 of it closets. He was tired of not having enough closet space. I told him we still had to have room for our "stuff". LOL

Wow totally awesome!!! So much better than my Militayr kitchen. I got a question , How do you go about buying a Shell of a Militay house, sounds like a good idea to me!!!

Tara

Here at Ft Sill they had a place for urban training called "mock village". For some reason they decided not to use the houses anymore and auctioned them off. They were normal house from the outside but there were no walls or anything inside. So I considered it a "shell". We bought it and had to moved to our property then "built" the inside floorplan the way we wanted it. It's small but we don't need a big house anyway and in the end, there be no mortgage. That's the part I like the best :D

School started this week, my hubby is on night shift and the heat is crippling so no progress to report on the house..............maybe this weekend. I'm so ready to get this done!

My baby is a senior this year so this will be a busy school year. I can't believe how much they want for senior pics. I'm not paying that much! She will go get the "official" pic for the yearbook then I will find someone that can take good pics and pay them instead of a franchised photo place. It's a racket I tell you.:evil:

The yearbooks this year are $125! I will get her one since it's her senior yet but thank goodness this is the last time I have to buy one. I can't imagine what a private school would cost because publice education isn't even cheap anymore.

Wow 125....that is a bit much!! When I went to school my parents paid a flat fee every semester for supplies for grade school, not like it is now where you have to purchase everything they might possibly use during the year.

Here's what we worked on this weekend. The walk in closet isn't completed and the ac/heater has to be relocated but she's on her new bed, souround sound and tv so she'll do just fine :
