I have to admit I love plumes of vapor, but why does it seem alot feel that is of utmost importance.

I mean most ecigs/pv produce more clouds than an analog, But isn't that working against the "cause"? Wouldn't you want to be less standoutish when in public?

Isn't one of the reasons for the popularity of ecigs is to obtain more freedom than when we smoke analogs?

I am not talking about health benefits or the ability to quit smoking or not on this post just the topic of vapor production.

Why is Tons-O-vape an most sought for response.

Is it just a wiping it out on the table to see who has a bigger one type of deal
or
Is it a real necessity to you?
Anyone may answer hehe, but it would be nice to hear responses from vaporererers that have been vaporizing for a bit now already and have tried a variety of hardware models

Thanks

Its all Pavlov, baby. If you really break down old smoking habits and the rapid speed of effect, two things have 100% co-occurrence with the nicotine hit; burning throat and exhaled smoke. Most of us have experienced that pairing some 200-800 times a day for 10-20+ years. Thats powerful mojo and probably an important reason for why vaping works for people who can't quit with patches and gum.

What "cause"? Don't answer that, I know what cause you're talking about but for me and I'm guessing quite a few others, there is no cause other than enjoyment.

Wouldn't you want to be less standoutish when in public?

If that was the case, I would have never smoked but that wasn't my intent in smoking in the first place. I enjoyed it and it didn't matter one whit what others throught with regards to 'standoutish' but I was considerate to those who obviously didn't want to be around smoke, but that's a different thing.

Isn't one of the reasons for the popularity of ecigs is to obtain more freedom than when we smoke analogs?

In a sense, yes, but all that would mean for some of us is being able to vape in rooms on vacation, business trips, etc. without the smell or smoke betraying us.

It is a necessity but has nothing to do with what you suggest.

For me it is along these lines:

Rand:
"I like to think of fire held in a man's hand. Fire, a dangerous force, tamed at his fingertips. I often wonder about the hours when a man sits alone, watching the smoke of a cigarette, thinking. I wonder what great things have come from such hours. When a man thinks, there is a spot of fire alive in his mind--and it is proper that he should have the burning point of a cigarette as his one expression."

And she was not the only one who looked at it along those lines:

"Sherlock Holmes sat silent for a few minutes with his finger tips still pressed together, his legs stretched out in front of him and his gaze directed upwards to the ceiling. Then he took down from the rack the old and oily clay pipe , which was to him as a counselor, and, having it, he leaned back in his chair, with the thick blue cloud-wreaths spinning up from him, and a look of infinite languor in his face."

Holmes again, to Watson:
"It is quite a three pipe problem, and I beg that you won't speak to me for fifty minutes."

Or, we can remember the case in which Holmes needed a pound of the strongest shag tobacco to resolve the problem and stayed alone all the day smoking, and Watson found him in a sort of trance, in a room that "was so filled with the smoke that the light of the lamp upon the table was blurred by it and my first impression as I opened the door was that a fire has broken out".

If you can grab any positive significance from that, then you have might have an idea of what it means to me.

It is very impressive and makes me happy seeing plumes from my penstyle I can't explain it any other way! As long as its not a wimpy throat hit all is good and there are low vapour juices available for on the plane but I have not tried them yet.

When I get to my destination one thing is for sure I want my vapour back!!

I really don't care about the visual effect of exhaling a lot of vapor, but when I am vaping a device that gives a lot of vapor production, it just feels like a more substantial vape, like it fills up my lungs a bit.

I need to feel it when I inhale and exhale. It's just more satisfying. If the vapor is weak, it just doesn't work for me.

I think plumes are cool, but since the past 3weeks I have flown from JPN to DC to FLA to DENVER to Hawaii and back to Japan.... I found less vape and more hit to be most excellent :D

i think most people care about convenience on the go (hence why cartomizers are so popular) and massive vapor at home (hence why mods are so popular)
