I wouldn't buy anything from them after what they did to the original UKvapers site and it's owner.
Then there was all that insanity about the UK eliquid "Illuminati" and the stuff about "false flag attacks".

Yup!

And then Decadent Vapours stopped selling their eliquids through TW...

I can't check the video at the minute my internet is playing up to slow lol what does phill say? And I don't know what TW sell I have never used them.

Basically he says it's a good device with a couple of caveats.

That's the thing with all of the 33.3hz mods - they are good devices that do deliver, they just deliver in a way some of us (including myself) aren't keen on. They are also fragile mechanically and electronically.

Someone said earlier on that you can buy a Vamo or Zmax board for $20 retail, the retailers are probably paying half the amount for them. The boards are probably less than $5 to make and they're being knocked out en masse.

I have a friend who is a vendor and just recently he received an entire box of faulty Vamo's - all of them displaying the low message with a fully charged battery. There's a distinct lack of quality control with of lot of these sorts of PV.

I do know what your saying I do agree to a point but I think the majority are still fine and they last an average life we all know more people come to forums to moan then people to say how good a device is lots of people don't even join forums unless they have a problem etc I think Chinese mods get a too bad press when lots of people happily live with them with no issues maybe apart from bits of machine blemishes.

Any way on the subject of the SVD do we know for a fact the SVD uses the same boards as the rest of the Chinese mods? Iots of companies take a hardware and then customise and make better change the bad components for good quality etc.

I do know there are lots of mods using the zmax boards but I'm not sure its the case with the SVD and if they do there probably modified for the better as I think innokin is of much higher standard then the rest. Innokin put much more effect in there products although I don't agree with there price sticking.

The more I think about the TW Vape pro youtube clip the more annoyed I get.

They worked closely with the manufacturers on the software - it's a Zmax with software that Smok stole almost verbatim from the Provari. Also saying you wouldn't be able to buy this from anyone else when it's a bloody Zmax in a different tube.

Also worthy of a mention - calling the Root Mean Square option "ANS" because of the fact the Zmax only has a seven segment LED - it can't do R's or M's - he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Pure blurb with some dishonesty thrown in.

*edit* The German TW lists this as "Akkuträger Vape Pro Body mit ZMax V2 RMS Chip" so it's confirmed that this is a Zmax.

Innokin buy their boards from the same suppliers that everyone else sources theirs from.
Innokin also offer a whopping 90 day warranty - that's three whole months of worry free vaping!

The innokin has the same power limits and options as every other 33.3mhz device, it also rattlesnakes. Every review mentions the vamo and zmax having the same chip. If they don't buy it from the same factory, it's the same thing either way.

Source... the SVD in my hand which also seems to have the worst build quality of any innokin product I have ever had and the screen is oriented for lefty's which is just weird. It vapes just like the zmax and vamo I have had.

That episode of click bang with the owner is a great listen, it's pretty insane. Also, the owner talks about going to china and working with the factories there.

And how do you know that? can i have your source? link please. No i dont suppose you have a link as you dont know do you? Yet again every other device is .... has .... warranty and rattles like a snake as you have a provari lol. warranty 90 days yes with innokin no with specific vendors.

China Electronic Cigarette Factory, Shenzhen E Cigarette Company 4. After service

Actually there are some vendors that offer 6 months, most offer 14 to 30 days.
It's 33.3hz so does it rattle like a snake.

Do you not get it?
Everything that has the 33.3hz chipset has the same problems - see Zmax, Sigelei, Vamo, CVI threads.

Since I've actually owned a couple of mods using this chipset I can actually comment based on experience, the same way on can comment on the Provari because I own/use one.

Im not going to diss any of the chinese made variable APV's because they bring the experience to people who vape on a budget.

That being said i saved money for a couple of months over 2 years ago to buy a provari. The premium you pay for a provari you get back in terms of accuracy: There a dozens of videos demonstrating that if you set the provari to X voltage then X is what you will get with the device under load, many times exactly spot on if not more than .05 off max.

I have seen videos even demonstrating with the DNA20 that show a significant difference between what you set and what you get; a lot they get more accurate when they are set to higher voltages or wattages but if you throw on a low ohm coil and set it to a lower voltage or wattage your experience will not always be consistent. The same issue is present on non variable eGo batteries that are supposed to regulate to 3.3 volts; i can set my provari to 3.3 and the vape on my ego-t2 will feel a little hotter when the battery is fresh, about the same when the battery has been used for a bit and lower shortly before it dies. When i switch to un regulated i notice a bigger difference.

then again; the provari is only variable voltage and not variable wattage so while they were the best a couple years ago it feels like they are falling behind the times and have been more reactionary instead of innovative recently.; im waiting to see if they ever come out with a v3 software that would include wattage. until then i probably will never upgrade my v1 provari. never seen a point with my habits.

as a follow up let me ask this:

#1: Are you a reviewer or hobbyist testing a lot of atomizers/cartomizers/RBA's and other devices? IF so do you need a device to use as a benchmark to compare APVs to?

#2: Are you a hobbyist that wants to change your setup and usually adjust to taste rather than needing a benchmark?

if you do reviews as I tend to then a Provari may be a better choice.

if you are more like a #2 person then you should save your money and buy devices that will give you a similar experience but more of them to play with.

The DNA20 doesn't step down so if your battery is at 4.2volts off the charger and you set it to a wattage that would take less than 4.2, it stops regulating and you get the voltage off the battery. It's an issue depending on the resistances and wattages you like. I actually am more interested in a Nivel mod but not enough to seek out one yet. Since I use a lot of different things, VW doesn't "set and forget" for me making it a waste of money. I don't like my penelope at the same wattage as my genny's or a protank at the same wattage as either. So whether I am changing the volts or watts, it's of no consequence.

I don't think this is necessarily true. I am #2 but buying a provari doesn't stop me from buying other things. The caveat here is the amount of money you have to spend or are willing to spend on vaping. Also, where you spend your other money on vaping. I have a bit invested in rba's and expensive devices but keeping them going costs almost nothing. Sure you can rebuild a protank but it's a lot more of a pain than rebuilding something that was intended to be.

I'd count myself in both categories really. I do some reviews, but I like to tinker with just about everything (I don't do sub-ohm stuff...yet :) ).

You bring up a good point here, because I do use my ProVari's as the gold-standard benchmark, especially when it comes to flavor and overall performance.

My next step is to jump into the world of mechanicals, and that's when I think it will get really interesting. I can totally see myself getting into some exotic coil wrapping soon after :)

Even after having gotten into, gone deeper down the rabbit hole, plunged into the darkness of, and conquered the beast of mechanicals I still find myself with 4 Provari's on rotation rather than any of the mechs which at this point are being sold off one by one (except my Roller, which I don't use, but its too pretty to sell).

Mind you, I only use RBA's - these days its almost solely my Kayfun and my Killer in a nice tank but I'd never gotten the allure of sub ohm vaping, never really enjoyed it, etc (I like to sit happy between 1.5-2.00ohms - which is all to say that you can get some pretty damned STELLAR vapes on an RBA with a provari and still have the protection, control, etc. that you expect with such a fantastic device.

Now, as a quick caveat - Its not as if I don't appreciate my mechs for their craftsmanship, simplicity, and ability to rock those .5ohm coils but as of late I've just come to the sudden realization (after far too much money spent) that I don't like vaping un-regulated - and, for this very reason, the Provari is still the only thing I vape, day after day, after day, after day. Hell, I ordered another one 3 nights ago "just because I wanted a black mini with a blue LED to match my new custom drip tip".
