the evic can get a lot of scrutiny for not being absolutely perfect. i personally am sick of this!
it only goes up to 5v/11w they say, we dont care!
it seems very fragile, we treat it like its our baby!
mvr is stupid and pointless, we check how many hits we take everyday!
why not just get a zmax/provari they say? simple, those dont tell me the time
i love my evic simply because it works as much as i need it to. i dont care about 6v vaping, just as i dont care that it will probably break when i drop it. i love it simply because all the gadgety nonsense in it is enough to keep me playing with it all day!

I'll chime in here and say I'm really liking mine as well. I have several mods but the eVic seems to vape...smoother? I don't quite know how to describe it. I have a lavatube mini that hits like a mule kick in the chest, which I love about it. With the eVic set to same voltage, same juice, same everything, it seems to be a smoother vape. Don't get me wrong, it does still hit nicely, just not like Mike Tyson after stealing his tiger.

Could be all in my head though

Either way, I'm liking the eVic

Just to see how cool this thing can get, I just got the new tube and cap from Gotvapes, and this thing looks like Darth Vaper with a black vapeonly BCC on it... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364150067.718133.jpg

The eVic seems to have a devout following, glad you like it. Joyetech has a reputation for quality, at least with the Ego batteries, and I have never went past 5 volts or 11 watts, I am sure some find the software useful. The reasons I don't have an eVic and don't plan on buying one soon are simple, I already have 3 VV devices and two VW. If you you love your evic, more power to you and keep right on vaping it, and happy vapor trails to us all.

I got mine about a week ago. I love it. Now granted this is the first APV I have had. Going from 808's with cartos and tanks right to this I don't have much to compare it to. But I did do quite a bit of research, reading and review watching I decided to go Evic. I still use the 808's sometimes. But As of now see reason for anything else.
Just got to play around and experiment with what to use on top of it.

i know what you mean. it was actually what sold it for me at the b&m store i bought it at. i compared the zmax, provari, and evic there and liked the way the evic hit waayyyy more than the zmax. of course i loved the provari, but not enough to pay $100 more for it :/

The eVic is far more durable and well-built than I ever thought when I bought it. (2) two eVics have been going for well over 1,600 hours, never any hiccup with it, work flawless the day I got them.

The only time it's limitations ever show up to me is when I wind a 1.2 ohm coil with 28 gauge kanthal... I would need buckets of watts to heat that up right.
eVic not cut out for low-ohm vaping. I wouldn't take down more than 1.5ohms. Also use AW IMR batteries, you'll get more power.

which is exactly why i laugh when i hear people rip on it for being "fragile"

AW IMR 18650 ... they are red ones, you can't go wrong. What can I tell you? They deliver more amps primarily. Although the eVic circuitry has that supposedly regulated to a limit of 2.5 amps, they'll do at least 2.85 amps on the eVic. Once you try these batteries, you won't go back to the stock ones, and esp. more critical using 30ga Kanthal wiring and up. If you're just gonna suck on clearos and cartos, it won't make any difference, but Genny RBAs --- YES.

I'm starting to figure mine out, enjoying it much more now. Got a black tube for it, like being able to change colors. Also got a silver spinner for the evod.
where did you find that tube at? all ive been able to find in different colors is smaller versions
