holy crap it may work for something like the gtus. I cut off a syringe needle and made it look like a qtip. I inserted the other end into one of my juice bottles and turned it upside down. The cotton was moist in a matter of seconds. I've got it upside down and so far it's just keeping the cotton moist, not dripping out.

Quigs, try this on your gtus! :2cool:

I went out and found some sterilized/ solid paper stemmed/ 100% cotton/ Quigtips. LOL
I cut one-1" long with tip and put it dry into a joose cup with the tip up above the Joose.whilst I was having lunch.
Beleeb it or not when I just looked at it the tip was wet. :>) I need to make a fatter genesis base to try and vape it. I'm thinking wouldn't it be sweet if you could make the coil like a tapered spring (big end up) and just drop the Quigtip right into the coil. lol

I tried testing with the syringe needles for a simulated bottom tank setup. The 18 gauge didn't have enough capillary action but a 22 gauge (I think, maybe 20) wet the cotton but it was slow and probably couldn't keep up with demand. I wonder if a glass capillary tube like they use to take blood sample would work better.

Probably no different from the SS.

To get any capillary action, the tube ID has to be fairly small, the refill rate would most likely depend on the juice viscosity (different for different PG/VG ratios). Hmmm, wonder if you can get a set of different gauge needles on eBay?

 I gotta stay off eBay for a while , I'm already waiting for 6 or 8 mod parts to be delivered
