On a seperate note while up sending it I went back out to the car got half way home and noticed no Provari with Odysseus on it.. I went back no provari ..I seriously cried like a little kid and thought life was over seriously.. But luckily I found it under my pillow at my house, did not even take it.. Anyone else ever have something like that happen? It was so extreme I am currently thinking of a holder for the Provari that goes around there neck... I damn near had a nervous breakdown... Maybe I needed to get those tears out LOL

Not quite as terrifying as your experience - I just had my heart miss two beats once. Came out of Home Depot, sat down behind the wheel of the car, reached in my pocket and no Provari. Catch my breath, heart beating again - I had already taken it out of my pocket and put it on the other seat before starting the car. duh!

overheated glicerin turns into acrolein. not much but enough to feel sick.

From Wiki:

The WHO suggests a "tolerable oral acrolein intake" of 7.5 mg/day per kilogram of body weight. Although acrolein occurs in French fries, the levels are only a few micrograms per kilogram.

I am big, 100 kgs - so I should take 750 mg / day to cross the tolerable level.

After wrestling with my new penelope for a bit, I finally snapped the stock coil and gave up on the silica

Twisted up some new coils/NR wire and threw it around some haphazardly rolled Cheese Cloth and....

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I've only had the Penelope a couple weeks but, the best I've done so far is with cotton yarn boiled to get the the sizing out. I use a nail to to provide a little space around the yarn and wrapped the coil. I've been vaping with it since Monday evening and I'm just about to replace it. Before this one, the best I've done is three days.

That Penelope is a nice vape though.

Hey Cyrus, for consistency with cheese cloth in the Ody/Penny...if you look at the cheese cloth (which I hear comes in different gauges like mesh, so you can't go with X mm by X mm) the weave is made up of threads that are about 1 mm apart going in one direction and threads 3-4 mm apart going in the other...I found that 50 thread count (on the 1 mm spaced threads) is about perfect...my original 65 threads seems to pack the wick slots too much and chokes it...

Anyway, cut your piece of cheese cloth so that the 50 threads are about 3" long (it's cheap and easier to work with), fold the edges into the center, then keep progressively folding it in half till you get to the point where you can just roll it between your palms...

This way, no matter how tight/loose you roll it, there's only 50 threads in there so with expansion the slots shouldn't choke it...just have to watch how tight you wrap your coil...using this method I've been able to get reproducible results with cheese cloth every time :)

that's exactly the kind of tutorial I need buddy! this thing is blazing right now, its gonna be my cheese cloth machine from now on, next time I'll try it that way

much easier to work with vs. gauze too, the gauze seems to want to disintegrate more readily

Also, make your coil up by turning it around the right size nail, ( or whatever you can use ) so you have a very uniform coil, then pull the cheesecloth through it, you can twist a wire around the cheesecloth then use that wire to pull it through, this way your coil stays and looks uniform, instead of just wrapping it around the cheesecloth.
