Can rayon be wick on RTAs like The Hurricane, kayfun 5 and Squape X Dream? These RTAs requires a lot of wicking materials especially at the wicking tails. Any advice would be great before I start buying rayon fibers.

I wick my limitless plus with rayon and it stays sealed on it's side.
You don't need as much rayon to seal up a channel. In every rta I cut away all but 10% of my fibers and it seals fine.
If you saw my Cthulhu v3 single deck you'd think it would leak because the channel isn't even fully filled.

Can't say. Never used one.
It's not a necessary step but it wicks faster and tastes better with smaller tails.
It'll take several tries before it's totally perfect.
Try it. It wicks so much faster than cotton it can be hard to figure out when it's not wicking fast enough.
As long as it's very tight in the coil you can use it and trim again if you're not happy with it.

Akuma, I'm a sort of rayonati newb. But I will say that when an atty needs major cotton, it does not seem to be the same when wicking with rayon. Rayon tails are usually best when thinned out, a LOT.

I'd suggest playing around with it for awhile and see what you think. The huge box at Sally's is not very expen$ive at all. If you get it there, just be sure you get the one that is 100% rayon.

I have a big box of Sally's Rayon Cellucotton and I've tried it a few times. It's nice and clean looking and works as advertised, but having tried both I'm happier with plain old Japanese Cotton. Rayon worked, but the controversy about Rayon always leads me back to cotton for my Kayfun.

I've spent hours and hours reading about Rayon and there's negativity about both cotton and rayon and the chemical trail that follows them from raw material production to market. Some of the debate is probably inherent in the marketing aspects of rayon vs cotton for clothing.

For now, I'm still happy with cotton as my preferred wicking.

I agree 100%, I stick to the KISS method of life. To each their own.
