I purchased the Nude Armour for long term so dont really want to break into it for another ten years or so. I have been using Vaper Tek for several years and have been satisfied with the lack of flavor but recently with the rayon I could taste it in a aftertaste sort of way like after you have a cigarette taste. It has since gone away but was strange the way that occurred for one evening on all 4 of my rayon setups at the same time and the next morning it was gone and never returned since. I never got that in 5 years of using silica or cotton. Just interesting.I'd ddefinitely break into the nude.
I started using rayon before making juice.
I didn't notice how bad the nic I was using tasted till I used nude.
I'd like to try Carolina Xtracts but I can't imagine it's much better than Smooth by Nude. Actually it could give more TH since theres no salts present.
Having tried rayon for the first time about 3 weeks ago I am now using it exclusively and would be happy to give my stash of JC to anyone who wants it. I wick with rayon exactly like I wicked with JC. I don't try and to fit it in the coil tightly but when I do I don't worry about it because if it will fit it will work. Leaking with my RTA's has been less of a problem than with JC though maybe I'm just getting better at wicking is all. I can't tell if it wicks faster than JC but it certainly wicks as quick and dry hits have not been a problem at all. Finally and this was the selling point for me was that I detect no taste from it. My juices all seemed to taste better, cleaner, more flavorful. I even compared it to JC in the same type atty with the same juice at the same time and the lack of that typical cotton taste was noticeable and in fact I was surprised at how bad the JC actually tastes and how much it impacts the juice taste. Having started on JC I never noticed it before but like anything else now I can't not taste it so definitely no more JC for me.
I also just started using rayon several weeks ago and mixed on results. The wicking is phenominal compared to cotton and it is true that the tails have to be just right to prevent over or under wicking and you need to really stuff your coils, Thank you all for the tutorials and info. The problem I have run into after getting the wicking sorted out and dialed in is I have had to cut my nic down by 2/3 rds and my flavors in half. Even at this mix I can really taste my nic, sort of an aftertaste, not necessarily while taking a drag off my vape. I am vaping Vapor Tek premium at 3 mg. now and can still taste. Any body else getting this issue >? With cotton my nic was up to 15 mg. and had no taste, but I was using more flavor and maybe thats whats at work here. It just seemed like it tasted better with less flavor in the rayon wicked rtas but maybe higher flavor was really masking the nic.
Thanks Jeremy R but I went back to cotton in all my setups.I guess iI like the flavor good enough and the way Rayon is produced scares me a little with all the chemicals involved I dont know if I trust these manufacturors to really rinse everything well, with all the greed and pennypinching going on in the world. So for now I am happy with good old KGD.Yes, I recommend reducing nic and flavoring by 20-30% right off the bat. Most of us find this a benefit. Yes, the flavors and nic, and whatever else is in the juice, are more pronounced and pure, so if you got a bad nic it's gonna taste more bad. Lol if your sensitive to a juice component it's going to be exasperated because your getting more of it straight up.

This.Graham Cellucotton Beauty Coil 100% Rayon Fibers 40 ft #44130
rayon is cheap, let us know how you get onCan rayon be wick on RTAs like The Hurricane, Kayfun 5 and Squape X Dream? These RTAs requires a lot of wicking materials especially at the wicking tails. Any advice would be great before I start buying rayon fibers.
Now that's something new to vape with..... XDThis.
If you're in a hurry go get some Kotex Us.
