My wife says they look stupid and won't let me take it out in public, she also says it's like a pacifier for me because i vape ay my desk at home all the time. I tell her ''well would you rather i have one of these or smoke real cigarettes'' and her answer is ''you shouldn't be using anything at all''.

Anybody elses non-smoking spouse not like them either ? lol

I dont keep mine a secret. I use my inlife 801 pen everywhere I go, at my desk at work in front of clients, my boss... I use it on flights, after dinner at a restaurant... You get the picture, I love when people ask what it is and where can I get one, I hear thats the coolest thing Ive seen. I live in orlando florida and you dont see too many people with em, hell my sister and my wife who dont smoke are now hooked on these things. I just wish they would buy their own ish and stop burning up my attys. For Christmas everyone is getting one from me that can use it. Im putting in an order to heavens for a large order:) Be proud knowing your sticking it to the man and big tobacco and health insurance and life insurance companies and their bs taxes and high ... fees for being a smoker. I say F@#$ em cause we can;)

I hope your wife comes to the conclusion of my ex-smoking, now-vaping coworkers. I've heard at least 15 people say "Dude, I couldn't do that and feel like a man...". 2 months ago there were 2 of us Vaping at work, now there's about 30 of us. One of the same macho men proclaiming he only wanted to try vaping to do it at work, "to save money", came back 3 days later bragging about how many people asked him about it when he was shooting pool at the bar. I think it takes time, but usually people come around to see it as good, no matter what color LED light, mod, flavor you're vaping...

Not trying to start anything... but if you have this mentality about it why should anyone else accept it??

Tell that to the OPs wife. :)

I appreciate your didactisism but whether you like it or not, people will look at you strange, bartenders will wonder what the hell you're trying to pull and generally you'll be pointed at and asked the same annoying questions by most people in your immediate vicinity.

Perhaps if ecigs eventually gleem mainstream representation or a celebrity face ala Audrey Heburn was for 'analogues' then perhaps that will change - but until then see my first post.
