hello everyone !

So i just watched the dr. Oz episode on exploding vape batteries lol and it made me pretty nervous .. i am using a cuboid 200w with a velocity clone from fasttech . Will my batteries vent or explode ? Any help would be appreciated thank you !

Well... What did dr. Oz say?

Because I'm sure he Explained these Key Points,

The Different between Mechanical and Regulated Mods.
How to Determine Battery Amp Draw on a Mech Mod.
How to Determine Battery Amp Draw on a Regulated Mod.
Types of Battery Chemistry
What is a Battery's "Constant Discharge Rate" (CDR) and why it is Important.
Battery Maintenance.
Safe and Unsafe ways to Carry a Bare Battery Cell.
Hazards of Buying a Battery which might Not Be Authentic.
etc...

dr. Oz is trying to Inform People and to Help Prevent Battery Accidents from happening. That is why he Talked about All of the above points.

If he Wasn't interested in trying to Inform People and Help Prevent Battery Accidents, he wouldn't talk about these things. And would just be doing it for Ratings and Advertising Dollars.

Mines like a silvery pink/red, think its limited edition but dont quote me on that. Not got box too look.

Anthony your clued up on vaping, Whats a good mtl setup??
Honestly (since i'm in the business of always being honest) there are a few weakness areas for me since I don't do them much. sadly one is MTL vaping. Haven't done it in 5+ years. last MTL device i used was the original kaifun. With that said i do konw the nautilus mini is a proven great MTL tank used by many people so that's all i can offer there

The other weaknesses for me is sqounking, never done it but I do have my 1st sqounker on the way arriving tomorrow. Cause I'm also a believer in having an open mind and trying everything. If i like it I'll try and become more informed on sqounking devices

Also mechs. while i use them and have a few and am very well versed in their safety, I don't have nearly enough to say the good from the bad. Also i always buy mech clones cause i Can't see dropping hundreds of dollars on a chunk of metal when i can spend under 100 and get a great regulated mod. They are fun to use at times but i prefer regulated all the way. I do understand why people like them. they should never break or fail and can be easily repaired where with a regulated mod if the chip takes a .... it's pretty much useless.

I didn't. Resident battery guru Mooch did. He stated "may be" not definitely is. He goes by his testing, and they must have tested to be very similar (and he further elaborates by stating that the metallic purple outperformed the 30q)
that's interesting for sure. maybe they are catching on to the fact we are on to them lol
the big issue though is maybe the 1st batch is, they send it to mooch he tests , they come out good and later on they swap suppliers and change the cell in the wrapping and we would never know. When you buy directly from the manufacturer like sony, samsung, lg etc you know what cell is in there. and with efests business practices it wouldn't surprise me if they pulled some .... like that

His tests have rustled some jimmies much like some were in this thread. They've gone as far as to point out the CDR of the cell on its wrapping, even though they still have bogus 35a pulse ratings on them.

It is what it is, I'm not telling anyone to practice what I preach. (and I wouldn't call defending my position preaching lol)

It Looks great, i instantly fell in love when watching the review an actually think mechs look Better than regulated mods, they are So solid an from What ive seen Last forever an cant be beat for flavour :)
depends. yes they can last forever if you maintain them and it's a good quality one. Can't argue with looks it's all subjective and there are a lot of very nice looking mechs out there. flavor is different. a mod can't produce better flavor. flavor comes from the atty and the build. With a mech you have to build a certain way to get the right flavor and it diminishes as batteries weaken. with regulated mods you can build anyway and adjust the mod for the right flavor and with temp control you can get an even smooth vape and no dry hits, so realistically regulated mods are easier to obtain good flavor with and arguably better

The new metallic purple efests I think were tested by Mooch to be true 20a cells...possible HG2 or some other 20a cell rewraps.

Same goes with the 40A red AWT batteries as well. But to be honest I feel as if they hold a better charge than my Samsung 25R's [emoji848]

Flavor comes from a good atty/judicious build.
Years ago, the regulateds had poor filtering, think 15 watt limited mods. The mech,, pure sine wave.
Todays regulateds are fine examples of technological evolution. DNA,,YiHi.
Looks? No comparison.
Longevity? No comparison..

yup. thats why back in the days and for years i only used mechs and RDAs. the tanks, RTAs, and regulated mods sucked.11 watt limit? LMAO. nowadays with the regulated mods doing stupid watts you would never need and RTAs being great and even pre made tanks like the TFV8 mechs aren't needed for good flavor like they were
