Yes i agree it is preference. I'm a firm believer that if it works for you and you enjoy it and it keeps you off tobacco then it's a good set up

DNA mods are great for temp control but there is a learning curve for sure. you can buy a really good temp control mod for 30 bucks. the hohmslice and it'll do temp control for any wire including kenthal and nichrome uses a single 26650 battery so better life then a single 18650 but not as good as a dual 18650 and is a decently small size. So price =/= better to be honest. I love my DNA mods for sure, but i rarely recommend them to new users or people who don't use temp control I believe in the right mod for the right person

i'm a firm believer that most mod makers are too lazy to use decent paint... so i make my mods pretty and more durable, even if they're not mechs.

@Skold with my limited knowledge 15 watts is higher than the recommended Maximum for the Nautilus Mini atomizers. I can't tell you how many I have scorched when switching from the Nautilus X to the Mini and forgetting to turn down the power.

@Skold when I finally hit 12 watts on my iStick TC40W and the Nautilus Mini I was like Wow hitting the high wattage now baby! Now I am running it at 9.5 watts to 11.5 watts maximum. I was in the Tim Taylor mind set until I found the flavors starts to suffer on some e-Liquids and coils life goes out the door. I get weeks out of my BVC's.

Nautilus X or Atlantis?? Which is better

depends on what you are after really.
I know my friend has an Atlantis and really likes it. I've taken hits off his. seems like a solid tank

I have the Atlantis V2 because everyone said it was so great and it went to the back of the Atomizer holder after only a short usage. Last night I resurrected it with a plain Kanthal coil to use on my Golem. The Nautilus X is one of those atomizers that take a while to "break in" but does have a nice flavor but again I run that at 14 watts maximum and now where near the 25 I think they say you can run it at.

ironically... those 160w's and the kbox 75w minis are the only mods i have currently that will tc... Ni, Ti, SS and NiCr... just because it is a squonker, doesn't mean you have to use it as one. sure it's not a DNA for the TC, but it works. that's the only part that made me slightly disappointed with the 220 was the only 3 TC wires and no factory TC coils.

Are you meaning the top box or subox or did they make a mini version of the 160w kbox i am unaware of??

That's the thing a lot of us forgot, you don't have to have the best device to enjoy vaping. As long as your' not smoking that's all that matters. Only reason why I and most of us have multiple devices is for the hobby aspect, probably the reason why I'm driving a 99 Chevy Venture .

As @kbeam418 says some people who have a simple pen style device enjoy vaping as much as I enjoy firing up my Golem DNA200. But there are many times that my iStick TC40W is my go to MOD for what I am doing. That little discrete MOD provides as much power and the same cloud.
