Yeah plenty of people knock them and I doubt they actually own one. My RX200S has been dropped so many times it only has a couple of minor chips and if you have a problem with the 510 in my opinion you need to buy better tanks.

The problem with the 510 is with the warranty.

If you can live with its flaws, and understand the warranty can be voided easily, its alot of mod for $40.

Trying to do a write up here on my phone but basically and yes I will say I do not own one. I've spent thousands on vape gear in the past months and still couldn't bring myself to buy one. I got close when someone was selling theirs for 25 bucks a gold one and I really like gold mods but I still passed on it. Here is why
1) the internal wiring is terrible. Way too small. It heats up when using 100 watts or more making the mod a hand warmer I work and and have worked in power generation for years. I've seen 4/0 wire melt down from being undersized. The undersized wire in the mod is discerning. Sure if u use it at 50 watts it doesn't really matter. Same way if u use efest batts at 10 amps they would be fine but nobody would recommend efest right? If u make a mod for 250 watts it should have the correct wiring in it. Put it this way if the rx was a house the wiring would never pass an electrical inspection

2) the 510 pin. Buy better tanks? Smok makes the best tanks and they destroy the Wismec 510. It's known to be the worst in the industry. Highest failure rate of any mod. Not only that but wismec stance on it was using any non wismec atty voids the warranty WTF is that? Their attys suck lol. This a .... stance to take.

With that said those are the main 2 reasons why. There are some other minor ones but they aren't that bad worth mentioning for a 40 dollar mod.

With the said the chip is actually pretty good for a budget mod chip. There is a guy on Facebook who makes money changing the 510 pins and wiring in people's RX mods. Charges 50 bucks and it makes it a really good mod. Wismec could have charged 5 bucks more and did it themselves and no matter how many people complained they never changed it. Even their 150+ dna version has the same crap 510 and wiring sadly. It threw off the temp control on the DNA chip cause of it.

With that said if you wanted to go that route vaporshark made one with the Wismec chip and they are a solid company with a good warranty and service and likely used better wiring and 510 but if not they will fix it for you. I'd rather buy that one for the extra 20 bucks personally.

I'm happy with my curve atm an can't wait to get the pico :)
Pico is a really solid single battery mod. Alot of times when people ask for a MTL set up to quit smoking I'll recommend a Pico and nautilus mini

My warranty expired in probably 2015 and I am still using this puppy. When people are posting problems with a MOD after a couple of weeks that is a problem but to condemn the RX200S for problems with the RX200 is Apples and Oranges.
It's all 4 though. The rx200 rx200s dna one and rx2/3.

Yes there are people with one's that's lasted a while and yes many people enjoy them and like I've said before if it works for you and you enjoy it and it keeps you off tobacco it's a good set up.

I'm not saying nobody should ever buy one or can't enjoy it, I'm saying it's something I could never recommend to someone I'm good conscience.

I can't go buy what someone hears or says unless it is real life hands on personal experience. Over 2 years I have been hearing this and don't you think I am tired of hearing it? What did I get the only one they ever made that did not have these problems? I will admit when I chain vape the crap out of it the temperature of the board does go up. Is it actually hot NO...............

Well to be honest I wouldn't know how long you've been hearing it since I just joined and it's the first time I said it. If you've been hearing it from everyone for 2 years maybe it's for a reason?

Not the only one but one of the few. I've seen people say the same thing they never have issued and weeks later have a new one and they just say whatever it's a 30 dollar mod it breaks I buy a new one. I mean it's legit if u can do that but some people expect to buy 1 mod and use it for years.

As far as the wiring goes I don't need to own one for that. I seen the DJLsb review it's by fact 2 guages minimum too thin but realistically 4 guages too thin. Wire size and amps rating isn't an opinion. If u tell me your gonna run 800 amps through 1 run of 350mcm I don't need to be there to tell you that's wrong since that wire is rated at 40p amps.

There isn't a need to get mad. I'm here to help and inform. How many people u see say I've been using efest batts for years and they work fine? A lot huh? Doesn't mean you should recommend efest to people right? I've never had an efest battery but thanks to mooch I know not to recommend it.

I can't take hearsay or what someone read on the Internet as a real true review. Because the bottom line is I saw all that when I got it and none of it is true. I love how people try to tell me about what I have been using as a daily driver when they don't own one or had a problem with one.

Problem with that is we have reviews for this. I've never owned an efest battery but I know they aren't good thanks to mooch. I never owned the fuchai 213 but I know it's not good thanks to DJLsb. I brought a fuchai plus to test and review so people can know it's good or not before buying. You don't need experience for everything to know what's good as long as there is a credible source saying it failed it's test.

There is no reason to get angry. We all have our opinions likes and dislikes. One man's trash is another man's treasure? There is a reason that saying exists. You are more then welcome to give your opinion on how much you love it as is differing opinions from others. I know quite a few people who own them on the VU and have had the same experience the fact someone makes a living repairing them on Facebook and has a backlog where he can't except new orders should say it all.
