Oklahoma is probably the only smoker-friendly state left. The state government hasn't outright banned smoking in any indoor public place (although designated smoking areas must be provided inside most public buildings with a separate ventilation system). It's very similar to the 1975 Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act.
Spent most of my life in OK hence the moniker OKcodemonkey. I still remember about 12+ years ago going into a bar in CA on a business trip lighting up a cig and having the bar manager coming running at me screaming I had to leave! I was confused, told the manager I had no idea and apologized but it didn't help. Yes at that time you could smoke everywhere in OK. However, 4+ years ago bars were really the only smoker friendly places, well that and Ihop
OK still provides some freedom for smokers, I have hope that they will be one of the first to allow vapers to have some freedom. As a vaper I don't expect to be able to vape anywhere, but I do believe I have the right to respectfully enjoy my vapes without impeding on others freedom.
