So I decided it was time to do something with this piece of printed plastic I had sitting here.

I didn't like how using the onboard buttons was working out so I decided I would cut the face out and replace it with a piece of tinted acrylic.

Trying out a new 510 design, using a 20a pcb spring pin with 0.080" travel.

Here is the progress so far....

poland, and the brassy lands of google
To save you the 23mins Bap, uhh, tip and flood replaceable heads, and quite messy to fill or adjust. Goodness, there is juice everywhere in the closeup sequence, which looks hard to avoid. This looks to have demanding specifications to create, such as ego twist electronics all inside the button, power only running in the top brace and I suppose loctite on the main battery tube to keep the caps aligned. Wicks reaching all the way into the tank would make it even messier, but it would be challenging to mod the head construction for a different wick. Being as it is quite complicated SS build, the 75 quid price is pretty reasonable though. :)

No, I abandoned both the 18650 and 26650 fistpack style mod projects for my SxS mod.

DIY mod shop on shapeways offers some similar designs - https://www.shapeways.com/shops/diymodshop

Bapgood, I'm really interested to understand how you built your kicked SxS mod. I PMed you earlier in the week. Is there any chance you could tell me how assembled it?
