ok so iam one of the lucky few i guess
before i needed to set somewhere 500-570 ,100-200watts on ss
to get a decent vape,
plus there is that small factor that in my country, unless you buy something like ud or black society brands,,the ss wires doesnt say what grade they are

now,i have that generic ss wire

since i do not know which grade i am using
(if any one can help me determine i would be all ears)

i set mine to the default ss profile

and so far temp protection is working
(no dry hits)
and i was able to go down to 380f@50watts to get the same vape that i used to get prior to the update..

We do wholesale; Of the 2000 Reuleaux we've sold, I've had four come back. One won't turn on without being plugged in; one is changing settings on its own (been updated); one won't turn on; and the last one the battery sled was deformed so could not close the lid. That's a pretty damn good defect rate, especially considering the number of problems we had with the Evic VT and the Ego One.
0.2% is a high failure rate?

For me personally ver 3 is a godsend allows me to dial in on any of the atty's I use the two lemo v1's are rock solid at 0172 and the three subtanks (2 v1's and a plus ver) vary between 0220 & 0235 not sure why they vary exact same build in all 3 but not an issue now. Getting my Crius v3's and billow v2's soon so interested in setting up for dual coils expect to have to up the TCR a bit to compensate for dual vs single coil.

Abit off topic but what breed of dog is that Tom?
Petunia is an American Bull Dog, the photo was taken when she was just a little puppy maybe 3 months old.
Below is more current pictures. By the way she is a runt for her breed usually the females are around 65LBS and she is only 45LB. But a very sweet dog.

I think it's great that many are reporting they like the new Firmware. With so many materials and different coil builds out there I guess it's hard to get it to work with everything.

The new firmware didn't help or hurt me with my Crown SS .25Ohms. It didn't work right before and it doesn't work right in Temperature Mode Now. I really don't care because Watts Mode is fine with me and the RX200 is rock solid steady in Watts Mode.

But it's encouraging that the new firmware has allowed people to experiment around with the Coefficients and dial in a sweet spot.

Im using 150 tcr for my .25 ss crown coils and thats been working great for me at 80w and 430F. Provides a nice warm vape no funky stuff
I didn't take the TCR that High guess I'll experiment with it tonight at your exact settings.

Just curious have you watched how the temperature moves on the screen when your vaping. Does it go within a certain range.? I've been wondering what the screen should be showing when vaping stabily with TC.

It should rise steadily, but briskly (rate dependent on your preferred wattage setting), reach set temp then display "temp protect", then "bounce" repeatedly toggling between that and a temp very near set max.

The strength of your cooling draw will affect not only rate of increase, but how much time it spends in and out of TP.
A lot of possible variables but that's the gist.

It's also why a lot of these various reports may be personal preference and not errors.
There's more than one way to approach a pleasant TC vape.

When I ran the Crown factory SS coils, I used 155 at 35W and that was fine for my vaping.
Currently I'm using Unkamen 430 SS at 147 35W for the same vape.
I like some TH and warm, but not hot vape.
And pizza, lots of pizza!

I don't even know what that's supposed to mean.

Can you break that down?

Yes, If you hold down the up/down buttons together you can lock the temp or wattage. In firmware 1.0.8 & 1.0.7 you could hit the fire button three times to switch modes to say Ti/Nii/SS/Wattage...In firmware 3.0.0 if you have the temp/wattage locked you can not change modes....Which is the way it should work imo....
