I´m so I´ll try to sum it up...

He´s kinda the german PBusardo and he exactely knows what he´s doing, he´s using the same settings for his tests, did it before with the Evic VT and the Evic VTC, also with the SX Mini or Dicodes and all with the the same results - cotton became slightly brown but didn´t burn at all. min. 30

I had SX Mini ( for a week but I sent it back, battery door drove me mad within a couple of hours and sort of things ) and the Evic VT, the Evic VT died after three or four month, I got a replacement after two month or so, so meanwhile I´m using two of the Evic mini right now and I pre-ordered the black RX200 - before I´ve seen Obi´s video ...
I usually vape at 260-275 degrees and temp control on the evics work fine... View attachment 510157

by the way you guys are lucky with the prices...the Reuleaux DNA200 is about 190-200 € ( 200+$ ) and the RX200 is listed for approx. 80-95$
back to the video, Obi said measurements in wattage are just fine but in temp control it doesn´t work well, you know that, and in that case he wouldn´t recommend it...but for that amount it is quite alright...
he´s always in contact with wismec, and he´s very confident that these issues will be fixed with a firmware update soon - so go for it!

How are you vaping that low, are you even getting a hit and vapor?

I'm interested to see some hands on experience with these when people start to get them. I loved the idea and design of the dna200 version but not the price tag.

The big selling point for me will be the minimum resistance in vw mode. The wismec website shows it as 0.1. the DNA200 is said to have no minimum, just lowers the maximum wattage to suit. I like to run fused Claptons down around 0.08-0.12 so it would be nice to not have to add a wrap to get up to a minimum.

Apparently Dirk Oberhaus has been testing the 1.07 beta firmware for the RX200 and it shows much improvement. He posted a brief comment on his facebook and will upload a new video when he has tested the firmware more extensively. Great news as my RX is ready to ship. Love how quickly Joyetech/Wismec respond to problems with their devices.

Just got mine yesterday. I used it last nite. Very easy to navigate the menus. Delivers the power everytime no delays or rattlesnakes. Both this, and my Realeaux are almost done coming up to full charge on each. When done I am going to use them side be side all day to see how the stack up to each other.

If quality of vape is close to the dna version then that will be an achievement in itself given the price difference, be good to hear some normal user's opinions on this as reviewer's opinions these days are not as trustworthy as they once were.

First off, I'm not picking on this mod, just a general statement. It seems to be a disturbing trend that companies are rushing mods out before they are ready for prime time. It seems like you have to either wait for updates, version #27 of the mod (lol) to get a property functioning mod. To me updates should be to increase power, add new tcr's for new wire, things like that. Again, I'm not referring only to this mod, just a trend I'm noticing. Rant over :)

Cheers,
Steve

Understand and agree with you Wings but at least more and more mods are firmware upgradeable so the days of things like the dna40 fiasco will soon be behind us, we are the problem though a section of the community is never happy wanting more and more and wanting it now. Company's have little time to design hardware before it's old news the vaping community is to blame for the very problem they love to complain about after all a month in vaping hardware is a longtime but if I had to choose I'll now always go with the mods that can be fixed by updates over those diminishing few that can't. Could be worse it could have been made by p4u and the problems in v1 would become the updates in the v2 ;).

I have one on the way. Again, it's a purposefully less expensive model. It's not going to perform exactly as the DNA 200 version and I'm fine with that. The form factor is good for me considering it's a triple 18650 mod. From what I've read, the pulsing only happens up near 200W in power mode which I'm not even going to come close to so not a concern. The TC issues can be ironed out in firmware updates so not a concern. It's going to give me a ton of battery life and it was a little over $50 shipped. Win in my book.

Temperature is inaccurate, kind of pulsy on the power...feels like a standard Joyetech chip to me. Throwing my DNA 200 chip in it from my VT200. I'm just not a fan of Joyetech's (if that's who's chip it is) temperature control or pulsing power. Now selling a VT200 Joyetech mod...lol!
Find out your firmware...mine isnt pulsey at all....just like the evic vt it has a really smooth tc regulation. Temp might be a little low subjectively (havent had rhe time to put my temp probes on it yet), but not as off as the first run of the evic vt.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

sxk's chip also noticeably pulses when it's trying to maintain your set temp. i can even get any of my dna 200's to pulse when temp is reached on SS wire, sometimes. a lot of china boards, im finding out, must have a low sample rate when in tc mode. im still going to get a rx200 purely for batt life.
