Thats not the only wattage ive tried. I get the temp protection as soon as I press the button, it doesnt fire at all...so ive been trying wattage high ,med,low, and everywhere inbetween.

I tried 3 or 4 different Ti coils the other night, tonight I tried stainless coils. Even a single stainless .35 ohm coil. It just wont fire in TC mode. Its a defective unit. Has to be.

Sucks.... I just waited 4 weeks for my 60w steamcrave bottom feed box mod to get here and it shows "no atomizer" nomatter what tank I put on it. It has a spring loaded 510 and making contact.

Has anyone seen the mismatched color scheme of these? Somebody bought 1 of each color scheme. Took the battery door and face plate and swapped them. That God awful turquoise actually looks good with the black body instead of the white.

played with it some more.

.5 ohm single stainless coil.

50w SS mode, 250 degrees-450degrees..... would not fire nomatter what. as soon as the button is pressed it says temp protection but the coil is not heating up or doing anything.

For the hell of it I tried this stainless coil in Ti mode and it fired up fine but looked way too hot. Juiced the coil up , set temp to 200 degrees and wattage still at 50.
Fired it up and the cotton poofs into a flameball. Thing looks like it dumped all 200 watts into it.

Ya.... i about ripped out the whole display trying to get a protector off that the seller must of already got for me.

I wanted to get into TC but $250 and 2 mods later.... and TC is still just a 2 letter abbreviation to me. I guess its just kanthal and power mode for me

anyone making their own chargers? you can get a 5 pack of 1 amp tp4056 charging boards with a micro usb already soldered on and 18650 sleds are dirt cheap too. both from ebay. very little soldering skills and you can have a 5 bay charger all independent and all for under 6 bucks. i use em for various stuff. they work. mentioning cause i saw a few posts back about some chargers cutting amps when more than two are charged at the same time. i also brought this up in the clown stick thread.

Well, looks like this is a no-go for me. Got one for the wife and it shows an empty battery bar even with 3 brand new batteries, freshly charged. It behaves as if the batteries are dead. The set that is used in my Reuleaux DNA200 was also tried, with the same result. Bummer

This was strange. I had a dual vertical clapton build for my Aromamizer, .2ohms. It read fine in my evic vtc mini, but wouldn't read in my rx200. I figured maybe I just need to upgrade the firmware, so I did and it's fine now.

Thanks for the screen protector removal tip, @smacksy - worked great! After peeling it off the RX200 I picked up my Evic mini and low and behold, it had one too. Both screens are now enjoying a clearer view of the world.

Well damn... initial use overheating. Again.

First use of the day, simple 0.3 dual SS at 50/460F in the Aromamizer.

Damn warm face plate, top and atty. Just two easy pulls. Batts fine.
Let it cool and it happened again. Then it stopped.

Is this going to be a daily blood pressure spike?
