I feel for you as I remember trying to make the switch. I just smoked and vaped until one day I woke up and vaping tasted GOOD to me. I didn't want a cigarette after that. There are vendors that sell WTA juice that you can smoke by itself or mix with your favorite juice. Aroma Ejuice, Mother's Milk, and Whole Cig. This is what I'm using for my son who is just now trying vaping over his Marlboro reds and is doing wonderful. I also use it for my housemate who started smoking again while vaping and it really helps her. She was only using the regular style ejuice prior to the WTA. It seems to be working! Give it a shot it may be your saving grace. Good luck!!

Did you do the cold turkey switch?

I did not experience the withdrawal symptoms you describe but i went the dual route for about 2 weeks to specifically ween myself off the other crap beside nic in the smokes.

As others of said, these symptoms should go away especially if you can focus on the positive side effects you'll be experiencing.
How do you feel in the morning when you get up? That "brick" still on your chest.
You wake up and have your early-morning coughing routine anymore to clear your "lung gunk"
Can you take a deep breath without a wheeze?
How do your clothes & car smell now?
You notice things taste different?
How many cigarettes did you smoke yesterday? How would you have answered that question a year ago?

Good luck!

For me it was the best thing I did in the last 20 years ... Is smoked 2/3 packages Marlboro red's and I just switched to 18mg in 2 weeks went straight to 6mg.
And due to the fact I'm also a sportsmen ... I felt the difference in my lungs already in 3/4 weeks....
Every day I vape and didn't smoke I feel my longs are improving.... I exactly know how much I could run on sport during exercise on a weekly basis.

Sorry for my terrible English I'm from the Netherlands..

Wow! This Forum is Great!! I have switched over as of last Monday...20+yrs, pk a day....I was so tired of hiding it, smelling of it, tasting it and the inconveniences. However the withdrawal is crazy! I needed something to satisfy my smoke habit though. My friend had switched to Vaping years ago, so I went for it. Already the money I invested on Monday is cheaper than what I would have payed in buying smokes ($15/pk!).
The side effects for me were crazy...head dizzy, chest tight, felt like crying....come to find out they had given me 8mg (lowest dosage here)...went and got 12mg...helped a lot! I even bought some without the nicotine so I can vape a lot to get the "smoking" feeling without indulging in too much nicotine. I would like to find someone to chat with when I need help getting through some of this.
Also I have ADHD....there is a huge difference for ppl with this quitting compared to someone without it, as I have found out. I think more of the vape sites should do research on the effect of ppl withdrawals when they have other issues...that way people can be better prepared, not feel like they are going crazy ;)

I started with the goal of going 50/50. I was a 1.5pad smoker so I just said screw it and started with 24mg. In 3 or 4 days I was down to 5 a day. I went up to a ego set and dropped the cigs all the way. I never had nic withdrawl symptos I did hoever crave cigs a bit after a meal. I was shocked at how it worked. I think I went high enough on the nic that I missed most of the negatives. I have now stepped to 18 and gonna stay a bit and keep pushing it down.

I think that I was not trying to quit and just cut back helped a lot too. I did not stress out about quitting and honestly I would smoke every time I wanted a cig I just eventually stopped wanting them all together.
