Anyone ever or had their 1st or maybe several dreams/nitemares of smoking another nasty cig.
Or realizing u have really spent more on quitting them, after all, after several years.
U actually haven't saved a penny quitting, but thought u would & want to.
But, due to buying devices, mod kits, supplies, pod devices, etc., always seeing/wanting a new device, a i gotta have it.
Turned out to be addicted to buying things, after not being addicted to nasty cigs anymore.
DIY making/mixing ur own/making ur own device, spending, spending, spending !
But ur health seems better or somewhat improved, but ur glad u quit them overall.
Or dreamed of an invention, but haven't the money for a patent or to trust a sponsor w/helping u.
This is a let's discuss what changes anyone has to assist urself or assist others w/these same problems ur having !
I know I have some of the same going on, & I know what to do about it but it's hard or harder than or about the same as quitting the nasty cigs !!
I hope this helps me or someone in the same boat I'm in !!
Or is it just me going thought this, I dunno, we'll see !!
I haven't gone as far as seeking professional help, & I really do not want it to go to that extreme !

I have an invention, & it's in the vaping area, that is much needed after 2 years of being a vaper & inserting my own coils, refilling pods, making sure my tank is clean, etc.
I find this invention a must have & a must do,
But I'm afraid to tell anyone about it due to it being stolen & I think & believe it would be a winner,
But can't afford the patent or to get started with it, whatever is involved in doing it or making it happen
I really don't know !

I was spending about $40 a week on cigarettes and $300 on vape gear for a period. Then $200,$100,$25 and I'm using up a supply of things so the numbers are going in the right direction cost-wise vape versus smoking. Some was shinyitis, but most was the quest for a device for satisfying the little day to day habits from a cigarette beyond just smoking it.

Health-wise the numbers never were going in the wrong direction. And now that Mrs States has stopped stocking the freezer with ice cream bars that should continue at an accelerated pace.

But I think there's a little kid in some of us who just like collecting things. Some find the right device quickly and stop there. Others enjoy a variety of nicotine delivery system related devices. I use a pod all day now but every so often I pause at a shelf or other location in my home and take a few puffs from a modular device on display there. One that didn't check all the boxes for all day use yet like it's kinda like a martini instead of a beer after work.

Anyone ever or had their 1st or maybe several dreams/nitemares of smoking another nasty cig.
I have dreamt twice of visiting the last state I lived in (southern maryland, hence the somd prefix of my username and domain name), and smoking instead of vaping. The last one though I just carried around an unlit cigarette instead of lighting it and smoking it, so maybe my subconscious is quitting too after I have for nearly 5 years. I just can't wait for the 29th of next month so I don't have to type 'nearly 5 years' and can just say '5 years'..

I've had alcohol dreams (I quit), which really disturbs me when I wake up, but not cigs. I've saved a good $20,000+ by quitting smoking.
Sorry to hear about the alcohol prob, I to loved alcohol, plus other bad habits,
I guess I'm being punished now for the bad, that's jus' way I feel & my opinion 'bout myself !
We all go thru trials in life, but we are only human we all have made our share of mistakes, hun !
But somehow we seem to pull our boots-up & more on, some are not so lucky or have the Will.
But, all each of us can do is try to do our best, we all mess-up now & then & ur not alone, there are others, some jus' aren't as open to chat 'bout it.
Some say they have no-worries, but don't let that fool u ! ...Let's jus' vape !

    Close enough md. Close enough.
Do you mean northern Maryland and southern Maryland are close enough? The only thing they have in common are both are in the same state. Besides that, they are two totally different worlds. I lived in Silver Spring for a short time, and much prefer the land and people in Calvert and Saint Mary counties.

Ohhh yes, isn't that somethin' how ur minds jus' take us over, it's jus' somethin' ..
I still have a pack of menthol mistys' in my freezer after almost 2yrs.,
But me knowing I won't ever go back to them it's a psychological thing our brains wanna control, instead of urself or ourselves !

I admit, I’m that kid who likes the shiny stuff.

But it’s more than that. It’s more than the nic delivery, it’s more than replacing the rest of the habit, having something to fiddle with.

It’s the learning. I’ve always loved learning a new skill, making stuff. And I needed a rabbit hole after my husband died. I’ve taken up so many hobbies since then. And it helps to belong to a community that teaches, like this one, not only for all the info, but also the comeradery.

And for the first several years I only spent a couple hundred dollars. Just a couple cheap mods and tanks, a little stuff to make juice. Last year, less than 1/4 of what a year’s smoking would cost. This year, uh, well let’s just say no savings this year. :D

Even so, or even if it costs me loads more than smoking, I don’t mind spending on my hobbies. And it’ll naturally slow down someday because I’ll have five of everything.

    ..rabbit hole..
OK, that's close to a dozen times I refrained from posting the rabbit pic again, so I have to.. Besides, it's a great tune, and the musicians that I have been grooving with for longer than a decade now and I folk it up nicely..

Sorry 'bout ur loss DeloresRose, I know it hurts, & the loss of someone u loved is never-endless,
I lost my older brother he was 28 I was younger, he was shot & in the Navy, he was a Corpsman,

Let's have a VAPE to our future of trials in everyday Life , Everyone !! ...
And yes, Keeping the Mind busy is the best medicine, doing projects, collecting things etc....
Cause the Mind can & will take u over, if u let it !!
