Sorry 'bout ur loss DeloresRose, I know it hurts, & the loss of someone u loved is never-endless,
I lost my older brother he was 28 I was younger, he was shot & in the Navy, he was a Corpsman,
but I miss him every second, every minute, every hour, every year, & every year that goes by,
Someone once said & I dunno who was, they said it's gets better w/time, Well it doesnt,
Whoever or whomever said that really didn't Love that Person tooo deeply, cause they were wrong ! ...
It's an everyday coping w/ losing a Loved-1,
not a forget !! ...
Let's have a vape to our future of trials in everyday Life , Everyone !! ...
And yes, Keeping the Mind busy is the best medicine, doing projects, collecting things etc....
Cause the Mind can & will take u over, if u let it !!

Sorry for your loss, Vicsch. I lost a brother, too, five months after my husband. The year prior, I lost my MIL. In the same span, I lost half of my pets.

Time heals nothing, I agree. You just learn to live with it, and do the best you can to keep on keeping on.

Thank you for your brother’s service, and your family’s sacrifice.

I have had smoking dreams. I've had drinking dreams. I have dreams of people who have passed away and the girl that I chased and never caught...and in my dreams, I don't catch her then either.

The mind is a funny thing.

Anyone ever or had their 1st or maybe several dreams/nitemares of smoking another nasty cig.

Lots of that when I first quit. Mostly dreamed that I was still sneaking smokes and hadn't told anyone. I smelled of smoke and hoped nobody could tell. Or there was a cig in an ashtray or a pack of smokes on the kitchen table, and I stood in front of it so people wouldn't notice. Guilty conscience working its way out. A few times I tried to quit and didn't fess up right away when I fell off the wagon. I don't think the smoking dreams lasted very long though.

Well I surely do not dream of the nasty cigs & the nasty smell that goes w/them ! ... I jus' keep searchin' for gooood tobacco + menthol 'bout every other week,
cause I only do tobacco + menthol, I do not like any other flavors & I've tried my share & they always take me back to wanting tobacco + menthol !
But I toooo snuck in afew behind ppl's backs in the past ...
& silly me ohhh I'll jus' spray perfume but it did not work now that I've quit close to 2 yrs.
I can tell a person smokes even w/ their perfume,
cause the 2 do not mix well together, there is a st inch that is unreal ! ...
But gooood luck,

Before and after quitting cigs, I have that dream where I lost my pack and can't find it, can't find my wallet (to buy more cigs) and can't find the door (to get out) I also have very strange dreams (I made a post about this) when I drink and vape too much nic before bed. I also dream about making/inventing things. BTW, love that rabbitt pic!

One evening I was drinking root beer... dreamed I was vaping root beer juice, woke up drooling and i swear I could taste root beer!
BTW, I'm on a very low budget... clearance sales, promos, ect. Smokes here in California (my old brand) cost $10 a pack so I have saved a bunch of money (don't need lighters either, or breath drops, air freshener for vehicle)

Okay, had a dream just this morning; I rarely dream of smokes. I was at a park and dropped my pack of Marlboro Lights under the picnic table. Lots of folks were around and some kid from another table ran over and grabbed them, then handed me a slightly crushed pack of Marlboro Menthol Lights with about two left inside. I thought "what the hell is going on"? Then, I woke up.

What kind of twisted is that?

I received the eleaf iCare 2 yesterday, it's my 1st coil pod,...
All the others are refillable pod devices, u jus' fill & go,
I dont like takin' a mod set-up out in this hot weather ....
I've come to the conclusion I don't want another one, they are a pain, & I have keep messing w/it.
For a small device havin' a coil it's not worth the trouble for me evertime i vape on it, i keep the e-liquid in the mouthpiece, ohhh well.

U actually haven't saved a penny quitting, but thought u would & want to.
But, due to buying devices, mod kits, supplies, pod devices, etc., always seeing/wanting a new device, a i gotta have it.
Turned out to be addicted to buying things, after not being addicted to nasty cigs anymore.
DIY making/mixing ur own/making ur own device, spending, spending, spending !
But ur health seems better or somewhat improved, but ur glad u quit them overall.
Or dreamed of an invention, but haven't the money for a patent or to trust a sponsor w/helping u.
This is a let's discuss what changes anyone has to assist urself or assist others w/these same problems ur having !
I know I have some of the same going on, & I know what to do about it but it's hard or harder than or about the same as quitting the nasty cigs !!
I hope this helps me or someone in the same boat I'm in !!
Or is it just me going thought this, I dunno, we'll see !!

As for spending more on vaping than smoking...

What you got coming in Tomorrow and Monday? If it makes us happy and we can afford it I guess there's no real harm done. The last 2 weeks I bought another OBS Cube and the Cube Mini, I don't even remember the tanks I got including several GoMax disposables, just because they were on offer. I bought the wife an Adept (I felt bad) and extra tank, so i got a zlide tank too.

The best purchase by far was the Adept kit it is awesome now I have to get one too

I could buy a new single battery mod and a new tank every other week and not spend what I did with smoking.
2 plus packs a day is expensive.

Right now I am contemplating buying one or another pod based system every week for the next 2 months, Smok Nord or the Smoant Pasito. Still wouldn't take me near what I spent on smokes.

Admittedly, I was always thrifty getting my mods and tanks, and I prefer the Pico series of mod (Pico 25, Pico 21700, Pico Squeeze), and I love my DNA 75 and DNA 200 although they are just too big to carry around (the 200 is Brass!!) and since I can no long vape at work while on the grounds, I need something easy to carry when I go off for lunches. I use the Nord and the Pasito now and love the ability to have a few on me and no one really knowing it. Pos, for DL'ers... Great!

And, since I DIY my own eliquid, I save even more!!

Yes I know what u mean by dreaming of bad-habits that we have done..
Or have tried to quit but went back to them time & time again..
Until u or anyone can quit a certain habit it has to be done or decided on his/her own to quit, no one can do it or really change ur mind but urself..
I can relate to u & many others that have gone thru it ! ..
Jus' hang in there we all can be survivors sooner or later ! There's nothin' wrong with it, we are all only human & go thru many trials !
But u Keep Vapin' On hun !!

Hi VICSCH. I only do tobacco also. Tried many brands of tobacco liquid and finally settled on HALO as my brand of choice (Turkish Tobacco and Torque 56). Just curious as to what brands of tobacco juice you prefer.
