I notice that Camel Snus (US made) carries the warning "This product can cause mouth cancer", whereas the General Snus (Swedish made) only carries the warning "This product can cause gum disease and tooth loss."
So, I'm wondering, does that mean:
(1) That the FDA accepts the research that Swedish snus does NOT cause cancer?
(2), If the FDA does admit that Swedish snus does not not cause cancer, then why aren't they offering free Swedish snus to all smokers to get them to quit, or at least, heavily campaigning the use of Swedish snus to get people off cigarettes, and,
(3) Why don't products like soda and candy also carry the warning "This product can cause gum disease and tooth loss" as well? It is the FOOD and Drug Administration.
Gee, this is making me think our government doesn't have our best interests at heart, after all!
