Hiya xstitch....have you used any type of reo or bottom feed mod? rob sells metal reos on the site all the time, it's only the woodvils that are limited.

awwwwwwww what a sweetie you are!!! Muah!!

I have never used/tried a Reo before. I've seen the metal ones on his site, they seem nice.....I just prefer the woodvils, lol! I figure if I'm going to go for it, I should get something that I like looking at [emoji16]

Some people do choose a Woodvil for their first REO. They can certainly be used for everyday carry! I have know some people that kinda change their mind when they get the Woodvil in hand. You must be prepared to hold a one of a kind masterpiece. They are so beautiful and well crafted that some people are deathly afraid of even the smallest scratch. Some delegate them to only in home use. But there are some that will take their Woodvil along everyday.

I keep mine at home mostly. One comes to work with me. But it stays on a desk and has a comfy cover to protect it. I am always careful with my wood REO's. But that is just my choice! Robert wouldn't make a REO unless it can function and be used everyday home and out.

Will this run be posted on website before sale starts, and if so when? Sorry if this has been answered before, I just don't have the time right now to read back through thread

I'm sure you'll love it!!

I drove right through Alfred on Saturday, was very tempted to try and find the Reo shop!!!
that woulda been so kewl! Didn't even realize you were a Maine neighbor of the Modfather! I think to find the shop you just follow the trail of porky dust!

I have a Cyclone that I bought a long time ago, and I might buy a Chalice III this weekend, it has had good reviews, and I kind of want to get used to the check out process.

Nice color! I have a silver cyclone myself that I use on my grand and it's all I use since I don't have a LP (yet)

It's a very tiny space to build a coil and I'm always afraid my coils are too close to my cap... do you have any advice for building coils on a cyclone?

I paid a little more for the gold Cyclone because it looked so nice and it was different.

Yes it is a tight fit as is with many small diameter attys. I always build it and try it out on a PV that has no spring to collapse and it fires I'm good as gold. ;)

Always tricky for me doing dual coils on it as the air holes are not drilled straight across. The holes are close so I try my best to set my could in a v shape so the air slots line up. always a little off and my air holes end up being off the side on ea.

I thin its hard for me cause I build 2.5mm coils but thats the way I like it.. 30 gage wire 2.5 diameter coil with 7 wraps 2x comes put to 1ohm. Coils placed a little high on the air holes.

Much easier on a derringer or odin.

It takes some practice but I don't find it any different or harder than anything else other than both positive and negative being shared between both coils. Here's a couple quick n' dirty pics of how I set mine up. 2.3mm ID (I forget what that is in inches) with 26ga. Gives you an idea where the air holes line up with the coils.

OK, chiming in, just since it seems more and more that vaping setup is pure preference...!
I use the SAME Cyclone as picture above - black AFC - very nice look.
And I've found a happy place with a SINGLE coil, at about 0.7, but with both airholes wide open.
Yep...I know, I'm weird, but hey, I'm OK with weird.

I do also LOVE my new Nuppin - but as it's hard to get one, I actually just popped the Cyclone back on for a road trip...and as always, it's keepin me happy.

good idea! I didn't care for the cyclone, but was able to find out that I really don't like any of the tiny attys. Nuppin is perfect for me. Hopin I can find another one, or something I like as well or better.
