All I have is Woddvils so I never used one a REO yet but I believe you. Using it on a Geyscono was my only option to try any 22m atty and the Manta was a winner so I can't wait to get my new LP Woodvil. The new Woodvils and Resin REO will finally open opportunities to explore RDAs. I still love my RM2s and Cyclones but 22m attys are sooooooooo much easier for me to install coils. :)

Yes, 22mm attys are easier, usually. Although, from what I've been reading, the REMatty is driving some people nuts. I just like the way the 18mm attys look, plus the fact that I can slide the door down from the top, instead of the bottom, which avoids the magnets on the door pulling the battery off center. Drives me nuts(weird, I know).

Rob has told me the same thing. I was thinking of getting spare springs for the new Woodvils now but the ones on site are the solder type for the previous ones. Since I was too lame to replace solder type springs these new screw on will be at least one less repair I will not have to send to the spa. ;)

Gee, I don't know! I bought those, and I'm using them!
Not sure why they'd be too long in your Cyclone...
Sure there's not half a screw stuck in there or something?
Maybe. I ordered the hex screws. Maybe they will fit better without the screw HEAD. Because when I tried the ones I ordered it was the screw head that was almost touching my top cap. Thanks for all the help guys and girls!

Ok, needing clarification. Before you said the springs that are on the site for the metals would work on the new woodvils. Is that what you mean by new springs?

Nope.. totally new springs just for the new wood. Metal springs will not work nor will the older wood springs.

New springs will be listed when new wood hits site I guess.

that's what this sounds like, so that's why I asked for Rob to clarify. Something must have changed, cuz before he said the springs we use for the metals will work on the new woods, unless me and at least one other person totally misunderstood what he said before.

Edited: Please scroll down the page and read the post from redeyedancer added after this post was posted!

They will use a 6 ml bottle the springs for the metal mods will work for these wood mods no soldering required

I will have new springs for the woodvils the older style will not work with these mods .

Rob said he will post newer springs for the wood mods I believe at the same time.. current ones won't work.

From Robert's posts it seems the metal springs will work in the new Mechanical Woodvil's. That also means the current springs offered will only be for the existing Woodvil's (pre-2015 runs). Robert will also list NEW springs that are made for the new Mechanical Woodvil's.
