just got my kit today with thermo tube
instructions say first time charge should be 4 hrs, thereafter batteries are supposed to be fully charged once the light turns green.

one question though, loose inside the smaller tube there was a gold part - looks like a big push pin. where does that go? it seems to fit in the upper ring where you attach the atomizer. just want to make sure before i have a mishap. so far, all looks good.

Got a reply to my email stating that the free thermo tube promotion officially started Monday and since I ordered 4 hours earlier and didn't request it, that it wasn't included. Lucky me.

He said if I wanted one I would have to place another order for something else first and add a comment requesting it. No thanks.

Yes, that goes in the upper battery/atty end. Make sure the little nylon washer is on it before you put it back in.

Really? That's pretty weak. Seems like if you're offering to pay shipping on it he wouldn't be out anything to ship you one. I'm still waiting for them to fix their website's SLL security, but this lack of customer service is giving me pause about placing the order if/when they do it get corrected. I like a good deal as much as the next guy, but that's a couple of strikes against them in my book.

Eh, whatever. I'm not too mad about it. The only reason I would have liked to have the thermo tube is so I could use a protected 17670. Not interested in 6V.

I like it so far though. Just got done making a small mod to it so the 510 adapter can screw all the way on. Had to cut the brass post down a couple MM. The adapter and a clearomizer fit perfectly now and it looks good. No more BE112 for me.

i have no washer for the brass plug. looking at the parts list i see a washer mentioned for the button assembly ......

btw my request for the thermo was honored before it was posted on their website as a bonus. it's a shame h8 missed the sale by 4 hrs but he is right not to be upset. no place will do a sale retroactively, online or brick-and-mortar, lol

now, h8 could always return the kit and start all over, lol

It might already be stuck inside the top piece. Double check.

Tiburonfirst, since I drive a Tiburon I happen to like your forum name, so I'm going to offer to send you the BE112 atomizer and carts that came with my kit. PM me your addy if you want them.

i hope you're right, keyz ...... before i spend more money on protected batteries i want to make sure i like it

You should always use protected batteries, they are much cheaper than plastic surgey! :)
Unprotected is vaping a pipe bomb in more than just shape. If you buy their mod without
the kit, and get batteries elsewhere you know it's safe.

For the 6V tube you could use :
Haoba rcr123a 3 volt Battery Kit
$16.99 for 1250 mah and SAFE, reliable.

glad you're driving a tibby, twas my son's first car and i got a soft spot for it for sure! he pulled out of a parking lot into traffic and got t-boned on the driver's side by a pick up. he ended up with a moderate bruise on his left leg ...... so, in my book tibbies rule, lol

No problem.

The atty and carts are up for grabs then. The first person here to claim them gets them.

Yeah, at close to 3,900lbs for a coupe it can take a nasty hit and still keep the occupants safe (alive).
